Hi - I am back almost a year since my last Q&A.. and I have been able to lose about 30lbs and counting which has greatly helped with my goals. However, I am still very aware that my side profile is not where I'd like it to be. There were a lot of great suggestions on my last post - but they were also all over the place. From fillers to a deep plane neck lift.. I'm not sure if the work I've been able to do would help give a clearer answer as to my options? I am worried about fi

H! congrats o the weight loss- that's hard to do, so good on you. I would consider a small chin implant for you and then possibly neck lipo/deep neck lift pending your exam. I don't think it looks like you really need a face lift from what I see.

1.	Computer Imaging and Simulation: I recommend using computer imaging and simulation to better understand your chin and jawline contours. This technology can help you see that your chin projection is relatively good but is currently masked by the appearance of the submental area (under the chin). These tools will allow you to visualize the possible outcomes of reducing the submental volume and understand the overall impact on your chin and jawline contours.
	2.	Submental Fullness Analysis: The fullness in the submental region is predominantly under the platysma muscles and consists of centrally placed fatty tissue. Additionally, the volume of the digastric muscles and the lower part of the submandibular glands further contribute to this fullness.
	3.	Potential Reduction: Reducing the volume under the platysma can significantly change the girth of the upper part of the neck, which in turn can dramatically enhance the perceived projection of your chin.
	
By starting with computer imaging, you can make an informed decision about the best approach to achieving your desired look.

Congratulations on your weight loss journey. You still appear to have some diet resistant fat deposits in your neck, and they can be located both above and below the platysma muscle in your neck. Liposuction can only accomplish removal of the fat deposits above the muscle. A surgical neck lift is performed when the fat deposits are located below the muscle, which also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. An in-person consultation may be required to sort out your anatomy prior to any surgery.
