6 months post- op, my nipple points outward, what went wrong? What is recommended? (photos)

Hello, thanks in advance. I got 330 cc on smaller breast cause I had no gland at all, and 330 cc on the other, still my results are assymetric, itsbeen 6 months post operation. When my implants move towards the center cause of a sport bra or anything, one of the breasts looks really weird, the nipple points outward completely. What went wrong? what is recommended?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Thank you for your question.  A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast revision surgery.  To fix your issue, you would have to except a little less central cleavage.  This is performed by performing a capsulorrhaphy, otherwise known as internal bra, on the center of the pocket and opening the pocket on the sides to rebalance the position of the areola.  You may also need to have a doughnut repositioning of the areola. You should be able to have an excellent result.  Best wishes to you.

If you look at your before photo, one nipple does sit or point more laterally than the other. This is your anatomy. Enlarging the breasts will emphasize the difference even more. However, the nipple can be moved towards the middle to a certain degree.  Your lateral pocket could also be stretched to allow the whole implant to sit more laterally.
