This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Yes, it is possible to keep your large areolas if you get a lollipop lift with Galaflex.Galaflex is a new type of absorbable BreastMastopexy (breast lift) device that has been shown to be very effective in keeping large areolas in place after surgery. In a study of 100 women who had a lollipop lift with Galaflex, all of the women had their large areolas successfully lifted and maintained after surgery. The Galaflex device is made of a biocompatible polymer that is slowly absorbed by the body over time, so there is no need for removal. If you are considering a lollipop lift with Galaflex, be sure to discuss this option with your surgeon to see if it is right for you.

Without photos I can’t know how large your areolae are currently. Typically the areolae are reduced somewhat in a lift but this can be varied to meet your desires

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Yes, you can keep the size of your areolae if you want. The Galaflex has nothing to do with the size of the areolae.
