If there is a lot of severe pain will I be able to take melds for pain?
Answer: BBL 101 With Brazilian butt lift we transfer fat from one area of the body to the other. These fat cells are transferred in microinjections throughout multiple planes in the buttock tissue so that they can gain new blood supply and live in their new home, providing increased volume and shape to the buttocks. Postoperatively, no specific position is indicated and we do not have any sitting restrictions. The pressure caused by sitting is not sufficient to affect viability of the fat cells and so the postsurgical position depends basically on comfort and any other operations that have been performed. Patients use girdles for 6 weeks and start therapeutic lymphatic drainage and ultrasound massages in the liposuctioned areas, which continue daily for a total of 10 sessions. Patients can return to light activities almost immediately after surgery, normal activities 2 weeks after surgery, and vigorous exercise 4 weeks after surgery. We usually experience a slow steady improvement for 3 months or so after surgery.

Answer: Pain After a Brazilian Butt Lift Unfortunately, every surgery comes with some discomfort afterwards. Usually, this is easily controlled with oral pain medications. 95% percent of my patients go home the same day and return to work within 10 days of a BBL. Good luck!

Answer: Pain after BBL Every recovery experience is different. Some patients say they experience a lot of pain, some others say they don’t even feel uncomfortable. Sincerely, Lipo is not a too complicated process. Patients use to complain about swelling, but it is more discomfort than pain.

Answer: What pain can you expect after a BBL? Each patient has a very different pain threshold. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell you what to expect. Some patients barely require pain kills, others are on them for weeks. Either way, the pain is not unbearable. Your surgeon will prescribe you pain meds to keep you comfortable. You will not be stuck in bed, crying in pain.

Answer: Pain after a Brazilian Liposuction and fat grafting are typically relatively easy procedures to recover from in regards to pain. Each person is different so it's hard to say what pain number you will perceive this as. Many patients tell me that the recovery from liposuction feels similar to having over exerted oneself in the gym working out when out of shape. The muscles feel sore when moving but moving around eases the discomfort. This typically lasts 3 to 5 days. The recovery for a Brazilian can be a little more complex because of the need to not put pressure on the area's treated. Two variables that have an impact on postoperative discomfort include having the procedure done under general Anastasia and the aggressiveness of the liposuction. When liposuction is done under general Anastasia it's difficult for the surgeon to know if mild trauma is being done to underlying anatomic structures such as the muscle layers. This becomes more obvious when liposuction is done on an awake patient. Some patients should have more aggressive liposuction than others in order to obtain the best outcome. This can lead to more post operative discomfort but is often worth it if indicated. On a scale of 1 to 10( 10 is a higher number than 1)I would call it a 6 tapering down to a 4 in 5 days I would personally not use VASER when harvesting fat for fat transfer. The ultrasound energy in this form of liposuction destroys the fat making it easier to remove but also damaging it for potential fat transfer.
