Hello, I am 4 weeks post BBL-my stomach Has been fat ever since I got my surgery. Before BBL, my stomach wasn't that big. My stomach now is huge :( I hate my body now. The doctor said he took 1000 cc from my stomach. I keep thinking and hearing "it takes time" but I also feel weird that nothing has changed. My stomach has not changed since surgery. Is this noArmal? To be so much bigger in the stomach after a BBL? I'm so embarrassed. I thought I was making my body better :( it looks way worst.

Answer: Stomach swelling after your BBL Swelling after a BBL is very common. Your surgeon may be correct that all you need is more time since swelling last last for many weeks (or months) in most people. However, there is always the possibility of having a fluid collection, or seroma, that needs to be drained. You should see your surgeon to make sure there is nothing drainable, since leaving a fluid pocket in place can cause problems down the road.

Answer: Fat stomach after BBL. Is this normal? (Photo) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early in the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation, discomfort and irregularities are normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)
