Rhinoplasty - why is the swelling on the tip worse now than it was day of surgery?

k65873
When I came from surgery I was very pleased with the difference in the tip, however it is now 8 days later and I feel like the tip is now way more swollen and bulbous-y. Is this normal? Is there usually significantly less swelling the actual day of surgery?
