How long should I wait after a full body liposuction to have a rhinoplasty?

Thank you for your question.  I think its smart to wait in between surgeries of the body and the face.  With the drastic fluid shifts that can occur with BBL and with Lipo, asking the nose to heal at the same time is too much.  You should probably wait 2-3 months in between surgeries.  You may also want to take that time to consult with a surgeon whom specializes in the FACE.Plastic surgeons of the face are double board certified and are specialists in Nasal Surgery.  Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi and thanks for your question.  You will typically want to wait at least six weeks and often three months between any two surgical procedures.  Liposuction procedures, in particular, can lead to significant fluid shifts in the body which can affect your recovery from another procedure — especially one in another area, like a rhinoplasty.
Also, since both procedures may require general anesthesia, you will want ample time between procedures to allow your body to recover as much as possible from the first procedure prior to undergoing general anesthesia a second time.

I would probably wait a good two months after a full body liposuction before you had any additional procedures including a rhinoplasty procedure since liposuction creates a lot of fluid shifts in your body and so I would avoid an anesthetic for at least that time frame. After that, the risks of the procedure should be minimized. Good luck in your area.

Great question!One excellent option is to combine surgeries, meaning you can get the rhinoplasty at the same time that you're under anesthesia for the lipo. The most important aspect of that is how long both procedures will take. You don't want to be asleep for too long. If not performed in combination at the same time, you'll want to wait at least 6 weeks and maybe longer for your healing from the lipo.  Full body liposuction with a BBL is a very extensive surgery, so it's probably best to wait at least three months before undergoing a rhinoplasty procedure under a second general  anesthesia.

 Great question. I would recommend a minimum of six weeks in between surgeries and ideally three months. This is simply to allow your body time to recover from surgery as rhinoplasty and buttock augmentation could theoretically be done at the same time as long as Operative time is not excessive. Good luck!

Patients undergoing liposuction will typically have a lower hemoglobin level after surgery depending on the amount of fat removed.  For that reason, many surgeons will recommend taking iron supplements before surgery especially if hemoglobin levels are low  or borderline normal.
Rhinoplasty is generally associated with a small amount of blood loss.  It would be reasonable to wait at least several weeks after BBL before undergoing rhinoplasty.  Also check hemoglobin level before rhinoplasty.
