Plastic surgery can restore a patient’s self-esteem, confidence and identity. It can change their life and those closest to them. Seeing happy patients continues to drive me to do my very best everyday.
I cannot recommend Dr Ray Goh highly enough! From my initial consultation, to surgery and operating room and through every post-operative appointment, my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. I had a breast implant removal with a lift and Dr Goh’s skill, precision, and attention to detail have given me results that exceeded my expectations. Not only is he a highly talented surgeon, but his professionalism, kindness, and ability to make me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process were truly outstanding. The entire team at the clinic provided top-tier care, ensuring I felt supported every step of the way. If you’re looking for a plastic surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and delivers amazing results, Dr Ray Goh is the one to see. I am beyond grateful for his expertise and couldn’t be happier with my outcome!
Dr Goh did an amazing job at reducing the size of my entire nose - something I never imagined could be accomplished. He managed to narrow the bridge of my nose perfectly without affecting my breathing and also removed the dorsal hump visible from my side profile. The overall appearance of my nose is now in complete harmony with my face and I am honestly in awe of the transformation. Incredibly glad I flew interstate so that Dr Goh could perform this procedure so well!
The best surgeon you will find in every respect. He is not only extremely skilled and careful but very personable. He sincerely cares about what’s important to the patient and cares about the patient’s wellbeing.
I had had a few consultations prior to Dr Goh, but as soon as I met him I knew he was going to be my surgeon. I instantly felt at ease. His down to earth, kind demeanor made him super approachable and he really listened. You can tell it's his passion doing surgery and he was both enthusiastic and realistic in the consultation. I felt in safe hands and very confident with his expertise. The whole surgery experience was made simple with the team being super supportive and lovely people. I can't recommended him enough. So grateful!
Bit of a background - I lost about 55 kg over the span of 2 years through diet and exercise, and honestly didn't even consider the loose skin I would be left with afterwards due to being so young. Of course, no matter the age it's close to impossible to lose that amount of weight and be left with no loose skin. My arms prior to surgery weren't huge, the size wasn't my concern, the skin quality was. There was a bunch of wrinkly, thin, loose skin on my upper arm, whenever I moved my arms the skin would rub against me and bunch up (as seen in 2nd photo) to be quite unsightly and also be uncomfortable too. As a young girl this was really hard on my self confidence, having arms that looked so wrinkly made me feel like I had the body of an old woman. Being overweight for pretty much my whole life, I was always incredibly insecure and this made me limit myself in what I could wear, where I could go, what I could do, how I could act, etc, and I thought this self hatred would go away after the weight was gone, but it felt like a whole other battle when I realised I would need loose skin removal. I was lucky enough that on my very first PS consult I found Dr Goh, the Valley Plastic Surgery clinic is so beautifully designed, clean, comfortable, and the whole staff is well informed and kind. Dr Goh speaks with confidence but wasn't at all cocky, and in a way I could understand but clearly knew what he was talking about to a very high degree. He asked me what I wanted first and then told me what could realistically be done for me, and set a VERY realistic expectation. I found it nice that when I mentioned that I think I would like a thigh lift, he said this was an option but didn’t see it as absolutely necessary and mentioned I may dislike the scar more than a bit of loose skin. I feel many surgeons would push as many surgeries as possible for their own benefit but I never felt that way with Dr. Goh, I felt he was making suggestions based on my best interest. All the nurses and staff at Valley Plastic Surgery are incredible, kind and great at what they do but I want to specifically mention Claire. She is so sweet, funny and very knowledgeable in the field and when I had an opening near my armpit from my arm lift (very common minor complication with brachioplasty, no fault of surgeon) she answered all of my emails in a timely manner, often making time to call instead which I found was lovely and she never made me feel like my questions were ridiculous or annoying. Also during the initial consult where photos were taken I was highly anxious for that but she was so kind and warm and made me feel completely comfortable with her. I had my arm lift done in July and the whole process was amazing, Dr Goh marked my arms before the procedure but he also spoke with me and made sure I was relaxed and ready for the procedure and answered all the questions I had. I stayed overnight at the Mater Private hospital in Brisbane, the whole staff was well organised and kind. I am so incredibly happy with my results and my expectations have been exceeded when it comes to post-op care. I have had my circumferential lipectomy (360 body lift) and mastopexy augmentation (breast lift with implants) just shy of 2 weeks ago, I will be sure to write a review once I am fully recovered. So far I am again, incredibly happy with my results and experience. Thank you Dr Goh for being so good at what you do and giving me what feels like a brand new life. You're a legend!
My experience with Dr. Goh was fantastic. He was extremely realistic and forthcoming with information about the procedure, the outcomes and what could be expected. He discussed the reasons behind his surgical choices and made me feel extremely comfortable, allowing me to place a lot of trust in his work. My surgery experience was great, Dr. Goh's work could not be faulted. I had very minimal bruising, the stitches were so neat and I have no scarring. The outcome of the surgery is exactly what was expected after my initial appointments with Dr. Goh, however he is always willing to answer any questions I have in follow up appointments if there is anything I am unsure of. Dr. Goh's team at Valley Plastic Surgery are very friendly and help to make everything simple from booking appointments to follow up care.
Dr Goh was very good at explaining the procedure and happy to answer all my questions. I am extremely happy with the result I achieved - I now have a very flat stomach and everything fits so much better. I expected more pain and numbness given other accounts I had read. I didn't really experience a lot of numbness and the pain was well controlled early.
Dr Goh is an amazing surgeon who listens to you and offers you realistic advice. My breast reduction has improved my self confidence and my lifestyle. The entire experience from start to end was carried out with exceptional professionalism and kindness. My only regret is that I didn’t discover Dr Goh sooner.
Initial contact from the reception staff was friendly and helpful. Dr Raymond Goh was very approachable from the second we met. He takes into consideration your wants and puts his professional opinions to you to achieve the most desired outcome. I appreciate his communication for every step of the process, making the whole experience less anxious. I am thrilled with the outcome and the attention for aftercare is A+. Dr Goh has an attention for detail and is excellent at his job on a personal and professional level. I only wish I had have done it sooner. I would highly recommend Dr Goh for anyone considering a procedure that is in his area of expertise.
My experience with Dr Goh was so professional right from the very beginning. Dr Goh is approachable, kind and down to earth as well as being extremely knowledgeable. I always felt like he was honest with me and that we were in the decision making process as a team. I can't recommend him highly enough and I'd like to thank him for all he's done.
Hi. Thanks for posting your questions. Without photos, it's difficult to give accurate advice. Revision rhinoplasty can be very distressing for patients, especially if you have already gone through two rhinoplasty. The thought of having to go through surgery without any guarantees of what sort of outcome to be expected can be very stressful and anxiety provoking. Seek out an assessment and opinion from a surgeon experienced in revision rhinoplasty to fully discuss your current concerns as well as your goals. Be very realistic in your expectations, as results will not be perfect due to the limitation of scar tissue, skin quality, and structural support. In most revision rhinoplasties, cartilage grafts will be necessary, and this is often sourced from a rib. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
Hi. Thanks for posting your questions and photos. From the photos provided, I make the following observation: 1. Your nose is long. 2. The naso-labial angle is too acute. 3. There is a hanging columella appearance. 4. The tip is droopy and under-rotated. A revision rhinoplasty would entail rotating the nasal tip, de-projecting it, and flattening the area below the tip toward the columella, an supporting the tip. In my opinion, cartilage grafts will be essential in achieving the above goals. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
Thanks for posting your questions. You can make an incision for access during a genioplasty either inside the mouth or on the skin. In general, most surgeons would choose an intraoral incision given the scar is not going to be visible when compared to a skin incision. Also there is no multiple cuts - just one incision that heals very well. In terms of antibiotics, you don't have to have this during or after genioplasty. Surgeons may wish to prescribe this however in order to prevent infection. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
Thanks for posting your photos and questions. Your starting anatomy is the most fundamentally important aspect to correctly assess. You have a range of implants that will suit your breasts/chest. One has to take into account your breast dimensions and not to have an implant that exceeds these dimensions. I note that there is a naturally wide separation between your breasts, most likely due to a wide sternum. This will be a limitation as to how much cleavage you can achieve with implants. Fat grafting may need to be implemented to achieve more fullness medially. I hope this helps. Seek out a full assessment from a specialist plastic surgeon to get a better idea of what's best for your goals. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
Hi. Thanks for posting your questions and photos. The most helpful photo is the second one, where you are leaning forward and the extent of abdominal laxity is demonstrated. In my view, you will not be able to fully correct the laxity you have in your abdomen with a mini tummy tuck. This less invasive procedure will perhaps get rid of the small lower overhang, but the tummy's "looseness" will remain. A full tummy tuck is your better option in my opinion. All the very best. Dr Ray Goh
