How long does it take Dysport to fully have an effect? 1 day post op had 80 units. (photos)

In my experience, Dysport takes about a week to demonstrate results. Of course, results vary from patient to patient. 

Most people start seeing results after just two to three days, with maximum effects by about day 7-10. The effects typically last three to four months before the treatment starts to wear off, and the treatment is usually repeated in order to maintain the results.  I also see that patients achieve better results over time if they continue to treat the area consistently every 3 months or so rather than waiting for the effects to totally wear off and starting back from scratch again. I recommend that my patients wait a full 10 days to see their maximum results and determine efficacy.  I would also recommend speaking with the doctor who injected you about any questions or concerns you might have.All the best,

I appreciate your question. I am surprised your injector would not have mentioned it takes about 3 days before Dysport starts to work. I am not surprised you can still move the product has not worked yet. It also takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Dysport. Dysport results resolve in 3-4 monthsI suggest you go back to you /injector physician in about two weeks for a formal evaluation of your results.Good luck. Dr. ALDO 

While most of us believe Dysport's onset of action is quicker than Botox, it still can take a week or longer, and varies greatly between individuals. The fact that you are seeing changes at all on the first day is very encouraging that your results will mature quickly.  Try to be patient.  Make certain that you have a follow up with your physician in 1-2 weeks to assess and if necessary touch up your results.

It takes up to 14 days to see the final results from a neuromodulator treatment. This applies to both Dypsort and Botox. If after 14 days you still have concerns, return to your injector for a touch up. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.

It takes about 7 days to see the full results of the Dysport. I would be wait until then to decide on your results. The dosing is low in my opinion and might need additional injections to get your desired results.

It can take up to 14 days to see the full effects of Botox/Dysport treatment. I would give the Dysport some more time to work. If at 14 days you feel you need more Dysport, you can followup with your injector.
