I hate the results from my gynecomastia surgery. The creases under my chest are very noticeable and I lack the definition that I thought I’d have. On top of that I still have discoloration around the nipple area. What happened? What can I do to fix this. I’d like a full, natural looking chest.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs Mr. Odie and I am sorry to hear that your gynecomastia results were not what you anticipated.  Without an in-person examination of your tissues it is difficult to offer advice as you may still have residual glandular and adipose tissue present.  Discoloration of the areola can take place in darker pigmented individuals and this tends to improve spontaneously with time but after 1.5 years it is unlikely to get better from yoru current results.  Gynecomastia correction does not create a full chest, rather removes the thickened glandular component which can enlarge the areola and lead to a more feminine appearance.  Best wishes.

It is difficult to tell completely from the photos. It looks like you might have some residual tissue of either gland, fat or a combination. The discoloration might be from the scar which could be revised you need to see an experienced gynocomastia surgeon. Good luck.

Minor imperfections may be present following Gynecomastia surgery. 
Visible deformities can sometimes be due to inadequate gland excision on one side or the other or accumulation of fat after surgery.
You can opt for liposuction again but sometimes gland removal and or fat grafting may be needed for correction of contour deformities in order to get a natural looking chest.
