I can't decide what to do about my back one surgeon told me to do Lipo with jplasma another one told me I needed a back lift.
Answer: Thank you for your question! We would need to know a little bit more about your medical history for instance, if you’ve had any major weight loss or fluctuate in your weight, age, etc. this will help determine the exact course of action that you will need, but just by looking at the pictures what I feel would suit you best is a torsoplasty also known as an upper back lift. This will successfully remove the skin that you have on your upper back and additionally enhance your waist line.

Answer: Back lift or not The back skin is very thick and it retracts very well when you have not developed saggy skin. Energies work very well on young patients who haven’t developed significant saggy skin. So liposuction (removal of excess of fat) and tightening combination works very well. Based on your photos you don’t even have a lot of fat, it is almost purely excess of skin. So you will be candidate for Back lift. This will be also a long lasting procedure. This is a very common procedure as expert in After Weight loss patients. Be encouraged ! Dr. Cárdenas

Answer: "Do You Need a Back Lift? Assessing Your Needs Based on Your Pictures Thank you for your question and for sharing your pictures. Based on the images, I strongly recommend a backlift, also known as horizontal torsoplasty. Given the presence of deep skin folds in your pictures, I don't believe liposuction alone, even with advanced methods such as J-Plasma, would yield satisfactory results. These techniques might not effectively address your skin rolls. In contrast, a backlift could offer a more permanent solution. During this procedure, an incision is made across the back, and the excess skin and fat are surgically removed, leading to a flatter, smoother contour. The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia and takes about four hours. It usually requires the placement of drains on each side, which stay in place for about 10 days. Expect to refrain from heavy lifting and sit-down jobs for three to four weeks or more. During recovery, lying on your back will be ideal to help minimize swelling and optimize scar healing. I hope this helps answer your question regarding the need for a back lift. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Nop It’s not to much skin, with liposuction it will be good, the j plasma doesn't work!! Don’t do it, it burns the skin, and it won’t retract the skin, just liposuction

Answer: Borderline The amount of excess skin you have is borderline for a back lift vs. liposuction. Liposuction, especially with J plasma, is an excellent procedure but relies on the ability of your own skin to contract. When this does not happen, excess skin can result and its possible that the deformity could worsen. The excisional procedure, or bra line lift, will eliminate these rolls but will leave a scar across the back. I would say neither procedure is necessarily "better" than the other, just different trade-offs that must be considered.
