Is 800cc appropriate for larger women? I am 5'5, 190lbs, (bottom heavy), and my BWD is 14.6. (photos)

Silicone breast implant comes in different sizes and shapes. Bra sizes differ depending on the store. We prefer to use Vectra 3D imaging to show our patients how they will look before the procedure. My advice will be to consult a plastic surgeon with Vectra 3D imaging and then make your decision after the consultation. Make sure that you are seeing a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

The largest implant available is 800 cc's so that would be your upper limit no matter what cup size you want to be.  I think your best bet would be to schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can examine you in person, discuss your goals, and review your options.

Thank you for your pictures. An 800 cc implant would be far too large for you and for too stressful for your body. Your breast  ultimately droop because the skin would not be able to support the implant.

Based on your photos, I agree that a 400-500cc HP implant would likely get you to a DD cup. I do not think that 800cc implants are appropriate for your physique and could compromise your skin/tissues. I think that you should see a board certified plastic surgeon who is able to estimate your potential size with a sizing system. 

Hi.  It looks like you are a big B to small C cup at present.  So a 2-2.5 cup increase would get you to a DD or so.  I suspect that something more in the 400-500 cc range would do this.  800 cc would be excessive for you and for your tissues.  Best to get properly measured and sized during a consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon.Best wishes,

Seems quite large. Only in person examinations allow a more definitive response to over sized implants....

Thank you for the question and pictures.  Despite your good description of goals, online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, in bra sizers, and computer imaging)  will be critical.
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering  breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully.  Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals  with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining  breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. 
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as  “natural” or "DD+ cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
 Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup  size may also be inaccurate.  Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice.
3.  Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly,  allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals.  Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery,  after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.
