you really needed to have a tummy tuck and liposuction alone was a poor choice of procedure.  but at this time you need to be doing lymphatic massage, compression, and RF treatments to help the swelling.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Tporter.  Liposuction recovery is usually worst within the first week and will improve with time. Your elastic garment should be snug but not overly tight. Check in with your plastic surgeon to follow up with all your concerns. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question and pictures, at 7 days post op it is very normal to be swollen this much, the swelling will subside in about 6 months so just be patient continue to follow up with your PS and wear the compression garment at all times I know can get uncomfortable but it helps,best of luck.

Thank you for your question. At 7 days post op, the swelling and pain should be decreasing and the compression garment should not leave indentations. I would recommend you follow up with your surgery asap. Good luck.

Hello, Thanks for sharing your pics. It is normal for swelling and induration or lumpiness to develop after liposuction in fact it increases in the first few weeks. The Swelling will reduce with time and may take upto 3-6 months to see final results. Ultrasound and massage can help resolve swelling more quickly. It is important to continue pressure garment during this period.  Follow advice of your treating physician.
