Everyone was really helpful and supportive. The results are great. I was given realistic expectations about what to expect and it’s exactly as I’d hoped. I have accentuated the shapes of my body I love. If I had more money, I’d do more. But I feel like it was worth the money I spent.
What made me decide to do this? I have been working out for most of my life. Once covid hit and the gyms closed I stopped working out as much. I was in the middle of a massive project for work that had to do with Covid and my stress was out of the world. 30lbs later I knew I had to do something. So I was waking up at 5:30am and working out 5-6 days a week and using Noom for my diet. These areas of fat just wouldn't budge. So I got a big bonus from work and saw another friend's results so went for it. Before procedure I sent the pictures virtually one day after seeing a picture of myself and just wanting something to give me a boost. It seemed like working out was the one thing in my life that no matter how much I did I couldn't get things to budge. I was eating all organic, watching my nutrition like a hawk. I sent the pictures virtually and was shocked at the amount it cost. So I did nothing for a month, deciding to work out and eat nothing but salads for lunch and dinner. With my thyroid issues, no change. So I called back and scheduled it. Day of Surgery The day of surgery I was freaking out (yep that's when i started to get nervous). I wasn't generally feeling well and under a huge amount of stress at work. I got to the office, it wasn't as fancy as the office in the pics and my hubby was nervous. They had me fill out a lot of paperwork and I went to the back to get prepped. The top bra didn't fit and I felt like a whale, so she gave me some pasties and the nurse, Danielle, told me don't worry about it. Then Nicole, the other nurse came in and they both talked to me like we were old friends and told me to relax. My pressure was 155/96, after relaxing my systolic went down to 135 but the diastolic stayed at 93/94. So they went to talk to the doctor, ideally they want it under 90 and I couldn't stop panicking. The Dr. D came in and talked to me about realistic expectations, that i might need a tummy tuck and that she could only take out 5000 ccs at one time. During the procedure I walked into the room, they had me choose my music on Alexa. Gave me pills that included xanax, pain and a shot of something. They also hooked me up to an IV because they said I was dehydrated. They did the procedure and it didn't hurt, there were a few times when I winced and was uncomfortable but Dr. D and nurse Nicole and Danielle talked me through it, it was like being on the table with my girlfriends, they were so nice and accomodating. Towards the end, I was getting to the upper limit and we both decided to do the thigh on a different day (we had talked about it before I went on the meds). Given my weight (I wear a size 14) I knew it would be the case and had already mentally prepared for that. The doctor told me to come in 2 days later she had space on her schedule. Night of procedure I came home expecting the worst. I took 800mg of Ibuprofen and went to sleep. I woke up around 8pm and did 15 minutes of laps around the house. I did this twice. My sleep that first night was rough, I had been having headaches for a week and it came back. Luckily I have one of those beds that automatically lift so i was able to sleep on my back. Day 2 (24 hours past the procedure) This day was not great. I was in pain when I woke up, got some breakfast and took a pain pill. I did some watching of netflix and then had 3 conference calls for work. I did some laps around the house and walked a total of 30 minutes. My compression garment was tight around the top so I put another pad so it didn't start creasing. Once I did that, if I was laying in the bed my pain was about a 2 on a scale of 1 - 10. I had zero leaking but looked super swollen like I was 4 months pregnant. Day 3 (48 hours post procedure) Shower time! I had no idea what to expect and was half expecting it not too work. I took off the compression garment and didn't recognize the body staring back at me. My stomach looked flat! My back size was so much smaller. I just looked SMALLER! I took a shower in cool water and looked at the holes, they were so small (I had lipo a few years ago and the holes were huge). They looked like a scratched mosquito bite. I felt so much better. All the drainage was in the pads some of them were soaked through, they packed me really well. I got dressed and went back for Round 2, inner thigh, outer thigh and knees. More on that in the next review. But if this were it, I am SUPER happy. Dr. D is amazing! She called me the day of the procedure herself. She was like a caring aunt, I felt very cared for. She really cared about my results and getting the best possible outcome, without being unrealistic and promising me the world. Updated on 21 Jul 2021: Adding my healing stories to help others. I thought my thighs were going to hurt a ton. They barely hurt, abs are 2 days older and hurt more (not hurt, maybe sore is a better word). I took shower number 2 and it felt great, my thigh holes have completely closed up and scabbing. I got another faja and it was a little tight. So I’ve been wearing the one from the place and washing by hand, throwing in the dryer while taking my shower. I did thigh liposuction before and it hurt like hell and didn’t work. I felt like I wanted to kill myself, this recovery on them has been better. I cut the bottom calf off my garment so I could wear capris. It is hot and humid! Abdomen My abdomen is still super swollen! I look about 4 months pregnant. Now I did get a more comfortable ab board that has really helped me. The foam wasn’t doing it. It was $10 on Amazon. I should have gotten some tent dresses from Walmart. I feel so self conscious, like everyone is looking at my stomach, and the swelling, and can tell what I did. My hubby says I’m mental lol. I usually wear a medium tshirt, my hubby’s Large is tight on my stomach. I should have done any other time than summer so I could hide it with a jacket or cardigan. My front stomach isn’t bruised but my back is, I should have gotten a back board. Sometime I sit on a chair, forget and wince in pain. Pain level Haven’t taken the 800mg ibuprofen in a few days. When I am sitting, working, I don’t feel any pain. I’m not in pain necessarily but uncomfortable. Just going to power through. I think in the whole day I am aware I did something maybe 30 minutes of the day. I cuss and just get over myself. Hoping the swelling dissipates. Tired of feeling like a whale. Will update in a few days. Updated on 22 Jul 2021: My abdomen swelling has come down a lot. I look so much smaller! I’m able to sleep on my side now (little wins!). My backside still is tender to the touch. I should have gotten a back board. The ab board I got is so helpful, I have zero bruising where I have a board. There was some lower bruising on my back but I think that has resolved. My thighs are doing well, getting smaller every day. I’m still wearing the compression garment from Elite. I started on the 2nd clip and now able to go all the way down to the 4th clip. I got it in size large can probably go down to medium next week. Also have been wearing a soft bra with it. Cant imagine wearing anything with under wire right now. I bought another garment from Amazon for $90. At the 48 hour mark I couldn’t stand to put it on it was so tight. I might try tomorrow. Updated on 26 Jul 2021: I’m not healing as fast as I would like. My thighs, that are only 9 days post surgery feel completely healed. My abs and back are still sore and stiff to the touch. I finally started doing massage in my back and it feels a lot better. My life is crazy now so I haven’t been able to walk a lot like I wanted. So I don’t feel like my healing is going as fast as I would like. I didn’t experience a 2nd round of swelling. At night I still wear my ab board for comfort. Hoping that after 2 weeks I can bend down comfortably and pick stuff up. With the faja on I need help. Updated on 2 Aug 2021: Lymphatic massage, lymphatic massage! I have been healing well but t the end of week 2 I noticed my feet tried swelling a LOT! I was doing all the things, drinking lots of water, walking, staying away from salt but by the end of the days I looked like sausage toes. I booked a lymphatic massage with Massage Solutions in Atlanta. She did LED, ultrasound therapy and this morning I feel so much better. I had a lot of fluid trapped starting to get hard. Definitely recommend! Swelling in my feet disappeared! Updated on 6 Feb 2022: Best decision I ever made. I added weight training after 4 months and high protein to my diet and my results are just fantastic. I stuck with the lymphatic massage for about 5 months going every week and just stopped wearing my faja at around 5 months post. I get occasional swelling but its rare and I’m happy I don’t have to wear that binder to bed or during the day anymore. The other side benefit of what Dr. D did and how she sculpted me is even though I didn’t get a BBL, it looks like I did, the hers of squats and leg workouts really show now. I see Char at Massage Solutions, no bumps, no lumps. Just a really even, shapely bikini body. Thanks again to Dr D and her team for a great experience.
I just had my breast augmentation today! I feel good. When I got to the surgery center everyone was so nice. I went into a room with the most amazing staff ever. One nurse checked my blood pressure and another nurse put the IV in my arm. They asked questions about infections, teeth, medical history, etc. They were so graceful and nice! Like THE BEST! My PS, Dr. DiFrancesco, checked in with me to confirm that we were doing 450CC Mentor Xtra Memory Gel in HIGH PROFILE. The nurses were comforting and congratulating me on my BA. I change into the gown and socks they provided. They let you keep your pants (if no metals) and undies. The anesthesiologist came in and let me know the process. Basically, they attach patches on your shoulders and then they attach the drug for the anesthesia (I can't remember what it's called). About ten minutes later, they bring me into the room to begin my surgery. I lay down with my arms spread out like a T. It's super cold and then they put about like 8 warm blankets on top of me. The anesthesiologist then says he's putting the liquids into the IV and literally like 5 seconds, out cold. I wake up which feels like maybe ten minutes. Super drowsy and tired. I heard them say I've been asleep for an hour. They wake me up and help me put on my pants. The pain was probably at an 8 from a scale of 1-10. They fed me ginger ale and goldfish. It was great because you're not allowed to eat after 12 AM and my appointment was at 10 AM the next day. My boyfriend came and got and the nurses helped me with my things. I just want to say it was such a great experience. I had gone to about 6 different places in Atlanta and something just threw me off, but when I went to DiFrancesco Plastic Surgery... The staff was so amazing. I had the consultation and met with Catherine and a nurse whom I wish I remembered her name. She was sooooo nice. The service was amazing. Dr. DiFrancesco gave me sizers and measured me up. We spoke about the sizes and such. I was super pleased and called them the next week to book this appointment. Right now I feel great. I'm not sore. I haven't had to take any pain meds for about 8 hours now. I'm sure that will change tomorrow or overnight. My results from what I saw looked really good. I'm so excited about the healing process. I am so happy. I'll keep everyone updated on this process too. Updated on 15 Aug 2020: Okay so the day after surgery was pretty bad. Woke up in the middle of the night and was hurting all over my chest so I took a Tramadol and passed out. Yesterday, was day 2 and it was okay. I was resting most of the time. The only thing that bothers me are my stitches. Depending on how I move my body it irritates it. I ate some spicy food, not anything crazy, just in case lol. Today, Aug 15th, I’m just feeling really tight around my chest and sides. There’s still a lot of pressure so it’s hard to laugh and cough. Without my surgical bra, they are kind of large. Which is what I wanted, but I just want to make sure I am doing all that I can to heal properly. I haven’t tested my limits on anything other than getting off the bed and getting up without help. I showered yesterday and that was good. It was strange because I have boobs and before my boobs were invisible lol. I also like that my boobs aren’t sitting super high since I had some elasticity with my skin after having a kid. Right now they’re just like torpedo looking and very firm. Lol they look weird. I’m just trying to be super positive and patient because it’s only been day 3 and I don’t want to scare myself. I’m happy with my results based on the other results of post op reviews. I don’t feel like there’s anything abnormal yet since it’s so early still. My post op appointment is in a couple of days and I can ask whatever I want with my doctor and she can check my healing. I will also be going back to work that day too. Updated on 16 Aug 2020: I think that I got days mixed up but I’ve been recovering. Today Sunday... I woke up feeling SOOOO good. I’ve been taking the Arnica for recovery and other meds. The only one I haven’t taken is the Tramadol and the one that says it’s for inflammation and pain but take as needed. I haven’t had ANY pain.. I’m still swollen all over but my chest feels a lot lighter. My armpit area is still a bit swollen but compared to the other day and right after surgery, it’s calmed down. I was really worried about that too. My right boob and under the armpit was feeling really swollen and tight when I put my arms to the side and I was sort of concerned. Of course reading reviews about stuff and finally I just chilled out and convinced myself that it was okay. Lol. I’m early in the process so I need to be super patient. Anyway, I’m feeling really good right now. I was able to move around everywhere. Still careful and not over doing anything. My nipples were SUPER BIG and stretched on day 1 and 2. Now on day 4 they look pretty normal. Still numb tho. It is crazy how different they feel from day one. They are still tight but some parts are kinda soft, so that’s making me more patient and motivated. My post op appointment is Tuesday and that’ll pretty much be my one week.. also I’ll be going back to work, but I let my work know about my restrictions. I’m just really looking forward to this recovery. Updated on 20 Aug 2020: Yay! One week and one day actually. I can sleep flat now and also not wear the compression bra overnight. Things are still tight around, but my chest feels lighter and I can breathe. My nipples were feeling a little sore but that’s probably from being stretched. My incisions feel good and I don’t think that I have any concerns as of yet. I have not been looking at my boobs everyday in the mirror but I feel like they’re settling fine from my view from up here lol. I feel really, really good. I finally wore a t shirt and without a sweater, my boobs look HUGE. But I like it lol Updated on 21 Aug 2020: Just how my incisions looked throughout the week. The healing process from day 2-day 7. So crazy how each day I just feel different. A day really does make a difference. They were super tender and sore of course after surgery. The looped ends of the stitches were rubbing against my skin which caused it to be itchy, but as soon as I took Bromelain, it really helped. I read that it was an antihistamine but idk. However, it did help a lot with the itching. I made sure I cleaned the incisions twice a day, morning and night, with antibacterial soap. I let the incision air dry and then before I covered it back up with gauze, I checked with a towel to make sure it was dry. Over the past few days, they were feeling tighter and tighter but now it feels pretty good. I have more mobility. Sleeping feels a bit better, but my back hurts really bad in the morning and I still want to be careful stretching my body out. Hope this helps if anyone is curious! Updated on 22 Aug 2020: So I am 10 days post op. I feel great. Still waiting for my incisions to feel better. They’re not hurting, just the same itch from the little ends of the stitches. I do notice that my left breast is getting softer, but my right is still very round and tight. I’m gonna try not to over analyze everything since it’s very early. I’m really positive about everything. I think since my breasts are still tight they seem kind of wide. Updated on 30 Aug 2020: Hi! I got past 2 weeks without freaking myself out! Yayyy! So I’m 2 weeks and 4 days post op. I called the other day to see if I can switch sports bra cos it was getting really tight on my incision. I switched to an unpadded one that I had which was actually big on me when I didn’t have a BA. Fits perfect! I have no issues other than one is still a little high around my armpit but getting soft and the other one is round and slightly harder. I tried to not to look at them this whole week and today I wanted to see the progress. I think it’s starting to look so good. I can tell small differences but that’s because it’s me, but I’m happy with results. Everyone at work didn’t know I got them done and my sisters (who aren’t afraid to speak the truth to me) said my BA looks good and natural. I wanted them like this for sure and I know with time, my results will be great. Hoping for the best. Dr DiFrancesco did a great job. Updated on 1 Nov 2020: Everything is great and healing day by day! Both have dropped significantly. Still not 100 percent but I can now get them to touch. They bounce and they feel soft. I’m so happy Updated on 16 Dec 2020: It’s been 5 months and I love them!! Just filling my tops and enjoying my body has been great. I’m just happy. My incision itches here and there but I’ve checked for any bad signs. Good to go. I’m bad at taking pics but these recent! They look great in lingerie btw Updated on 27 Mar 2021: Got to wear a bikini for the first time and I love them so much. They’ve both dropped greatly and I think it’s amazing. Over the past few months they’re feeling softer and just feeling good. Spring time is coming and I will be presenting these sisters more and more. Updated on 11 Apr 2021: Just wanted to upload pics of my progress over the months
Dr. D is incredible! I went to her six years ago for liposuction and have also gone to her for botox. She is well educated, experienced, and very detail oriented (exactly the type of doctor you'd want for a procedure like this!) She talked me through every step of the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. The incision sites are not noticeable and she was able to give me a much smaller, more contoured waist. I also appreciate how cost-conscious she is.
I’ve been seeing Dr D for several years for Botox - she’s an excellent injector, I’ve been happy with the results every time. Also, she’s a Dr willing to both discuss and listen to concerns and treatment options. I appreciate the Dr/Patient relationship we’ve developed, so much so that i did a tummy tuck with her recently. I’ve referred several friends/family because I trust her.
I really liked her a lot. She doesn’t want you to look over done, likes to keep a natural look. I travel to Atlanta twice a year and plan on going back to her for my fillers. She makes you feel comfortable and explains the process to you.
My body needed a little freshen up, but I didn't want anything drastic or overly painful. Everone I know who has had some form of Lipo has been disappointed with their results. (They all live in another state, not Georgia!) I found Dr. DiFrancesco via Real Self. I contacted three offices, but her office was the only one to respond on the day I asked for information. After my research, booked an appontment for the intial consultation. Dr. DiFrancesco is very easy to talk to, she discusses all options available for you as a patient and allows you to decide what you want to do--if you want to do anything. I didn't feel any pressure from her at all. Two days later we did the procedure. It is painful, but no pain--no gain. I find Zoom tooth whitener much, much more painful than this! I did three planks on lower abs, one on the upper ab area, and two on each side of my flanks. Following the procedure, there was minimal pain, but for at least a week it felt as if I had done 500 sit ups--a lactic acid type of burn--for those of you who are athletic. Water and massage appear to be the key to this procedure, and I have faithfully been drinking at least 64 ozs. of water daily, and massaging the areas 10 minutes as instructed. My BMI is around 23 & I'm an average weight for my height. Now, after three weeks I am already beginning to see contouring! I didn't take pics, put will post once my 10 weeks are finished. I am thrilled with this procedure, the results, and definitely recommend Dr. DiFrancesco.
I had breast implants that were 15 years old. On my last physical, I found out that one of my implants had ruptured. Being that I had not seen a plastic surgeon in many years, I wanted to make sure that I found that right plastic surgeon for me. I read many reviews from many different doctors on RealSelf as well as other websites; I also went to a few different consultations to make sure I was choosing the right surgeon. After spending over an hour talking to Dr. DiFrancesco, I knew she was the right choice for me. The entire office staff were so sweet and professional from the moment I called to make my initial appointment to after my surgery for follow up appointments. Dr. D's bedside manner was superb. She took the time to listen to my wants and needs and with her professional recommendations I think she was able to achieve a great outcome. I did not realize how much better inside and out I would feel after replacing my implants!! I'm a new person today and a big part of that is thanks to Dr. DiFrancesco!
I got my breast augmentation with Dr. Lisa back in March. I can't tell you how happy I've been since. It's made such a difference in the clothes that I wear and my level of confidence. You can't even tell that they are not my natural breasts. This doctor is truly dedicated to providing you with surgical results that cater to what you want, rather than a cookie cutter look. My consultation was confidential and I felt very comfortable, even from initially walking in. The staff is friendly, polite, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa to anyone who is looking to have a procedure done in Atlanta!
I have lived with a disfigured stomach for many years. After being diagnosed with an Abdominal Hernia and extensive research I found that a Plastic Surgeon could repair my hernia and help me obtain a more desireable tummy. Why not!!!??? My Doctor recommended Dr. Difrancesco to perform my abdomnioplasty and hernia repair. I met Dr. Difrancesco and she is awesome! She answered all of my questions quickly making me feel confident that she was the Plastic Surgeon that was going to help me start out on my body transformation journey. I had my surgery on June 22, 2016. I am so very happy with the results! I didn't have a large amount of "hanging skin" (my extra skin inverted into my belly button) so Dr. Difrancesco explained that I may have a small vertical incision along with the horizontal incision. Perfectly fine for me. As long as she could remove the pouch! She did just that! Updated on 1 Jul 2016: Depending on how my scar heals...here is a tattoo cover up that I love Updated on 5 Aug 2016: Loving my results! Swelling is gone down considerably! I'm cleared to workout! So excited! Updated on 13 Aug 2016: I went out last night! Absolutely loving my results! I can't believe I wore a crop top! First time in over 20 years!!!
Thank you for your question. I would recommend waiting at least 6 month after delivery and you have stopped breastfeeding. It is best to consult with a plastic surgeon for recommendations specific for you.
Thank you for your question. Yes airsculpt is safe and yields good results. Airsculpt is a gentler form of liposuction that removes just as much fat as traditional liposuction.
Thank you for your question. You would be a good candidate for liposuction. If you still had loose skin you could have a mini tummy tuck or use thermi to tighten the skin. It is best to go in for a consultation to understand your options.
Thank you for your question. It is normal to have swelling that settles in your lower neck after chin liposuction. Massage or lymphatic drainage will help facilitate the healing process.
Thank you for your question. Your should follow the post op recommends of your surgeon to get the best results. It certainly sounds as if you are doing to much so soon after surgery. DOing too much could put you at risk for a serious complication after surgery
