I have been waking up in the middle of the night with itchy palms, very intense! I know nutrition is a concern of my doctor, due to some sutures opening last week. But wondering if this is something I should be concerned about. Thank you!

I recommend following up with your Doctor. You will have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. I would discuss this with all the doctors that participate in your care.  Your situation may be multifactoral as nutrition deficits can definitely lead to itching or nerve sensations.  Healing from surgery can also lead to itching through histamine release and scar formation.  If you are on pain medications it may be a reaction to these as well.  Never be afraid to discuss new symptoms with your doctor(s) and together you can get to the bottom of it.  They may even be able to suggest a medication to help!  Hope it gets better soon!
