It's day 2. I feel like my face is now slightly fuller, round, and I have two hard swollen bumps in my neck area. I've been reading all of the reviews on here (good and bad) and am feeling nervous. Now, that I am seeing how others have had bad experiences, I am concerned. I am suppose to go back and get the last treatment this Saturday, and I am considering canceling. If I don't follow through with the second treatment, will that effect my over all results, look or make things worse?
Answer: Ultherapy post symptoms. Hi, it's not unusual to have swelling and hard areas immediately after. That means the process has started. I am surprised you have a second treatment scheduled already unless your provider is treating in two parts. Generally it is an hour or hour and half treatment for the full face treated at two levels. There is discomfort, but when properly medicated prior, you should be fine.

Answer: Ulthera- post treatment Hi there,Not to worry, these are normal side effects following an Ulthera treatment. The inner collagen tissue has been damaged, which can cause swelling and bruising. Side effects typically subside within a week or two. Prior to completing your treatment, I suggest discussing your concerns with your service provider. They may have options available to help speed up your healing process. It is best to follow through and complete your Ulthera treatment in order to achieve the optimal result. Good luck, and don't fret!

Answer: Remain calm Remain calm. Side effects usually subside after a few days. If you continue to experience symptoms, follow up with the doctor who performed your treatment. Usually, side effects will sort themselves out when given a little time.

Answer: Ultherapy outcome Hello! We used to offer Ultherapy in our office and no longer do. Results tend to be very conservative - my patients were fine with that, but yes, the treatment is a bit uncomfortable. We were not providing sequential treatments - treatment was a "one and done," with further treatment to get patients over the top months later. Are you getting two treatments for two areas? Talk to your provider about your concerns. If results are irregular, most of the time that is temporary. If results are not as impactful as you hoped, it might be worthwhile to investigate other options.

Answer: Ultherapy Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to experience this, especially on day 2. This is normal and is a sign that the collagen production has started. Keep in mind that the full results will show over time so having before / after photos will help you better keep track. We typically recommend the second treatment 4 to 6 weeks after the initial one. However, your Ultherapy facilitator may be doing the treatment in parts. While I do not recommend cancelling your appointment as it will likely affect the overall results, be sure to discuss all concerns with the facilitator.Good luck!
