I had Ultherapy in early December 2017 on my marionette lines. What sort of follow up care is needed?

Essentially no follow up care is needed. Once you have the procedure you just need to give it time to see full results, which can take several months. 

A combination approach would give the most improvement with Ultherapy. I recommend Ultherapy with RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP or sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improve skin tone.  I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Full Ultherapy results typically show up around 4 to 6 months. However, you could use other treatments to optimize your results. For marionette lines, I would recommend combining Ultherapy with injectables as well as laser treatments for best results.

Ultherapy is a significant part of your anti-aging and skin health regime to non-surgically address skin laxity and tightening concerns. The other key parts of the non-surgical anti-aging process are to treat with a neuromodulator (botox or dysport) for lines in the areas of expression on the face, filler to address volume and bone loss and skin resurfacing or needling devices to address sun damage, collagen loss, lines/wrinkles on the skins surface.
