I had a MM June 2017. I has little fat but excess skin and skin repair. I've regretted and have become more self conscious with my body due to this decision due to results and can't undue. I cry if I look at my body, which I did not before. Why is there a bulge in the scar area of TT? It has been like this since from almost start. What and can anything be done as it looks horrible under clothes and it looks lumpy. My breasts are still an issue. Thanks
Answer: Mommy makeover revision Your results are not ideal, but also not outrageous or unfixable. It looks like the left implant is a bit bottomed out. It could be improved with some internal manipulation of the capsule surrounding the implant that would help elevate the breast crease back to its proper position. The abdominoplasty does have a slightly higher than ideal scar with some asymmetry in the amount of fatty tissue under the skin above the scar compared to below the scar. This could be improved with a scar revision procedure with or without some liposuction of the tissue just above the scar.

Answer: Tummy Tuck results. There is nothing wrong with the Tummy Tuck results, your waist line is beautiful, your upper abdomen is nice and tight, the only thing is that your doctor did not completed the procedure doing liposuction after the Tummy Tuck.I never do liposuction during Tummy Tuck either, so almost a 100% of the patients remain with that little pouch because that was your own fat above the belly button, and will be totally flat after the liposuction. Be ecnouraged!!!Dr. Cardenas

Answer: I would like a second opinion, was my tummy tuck botched? I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy with your surgery results. Based on your photos it appears your implant has bottomed out on the one side. This can be corrected surgically. As for the "bump" along your incision, it may be improved with liposuction but an examination would be needed to confirm this. I encourage you to visit with a few board certified plastic surgeons near you for consultations.

Answer: High Riding Scar and Fat Asymmetry Your issue can be at least partially corrected with a combination of liposuction and scar advancement inferiorly. Your situation is a common one among women who did not have enough skin excess in the upper abdomen to allow translocation of the skin that was next to the belly button. Once released, that skin has a hole which most surgeons have been taught needs to be removed with the excess skin. In order to ensure this, the surgeon then plans the incision high enough to capture the hole. This prioritization of getting the hole out over scar placement leads to surgeons making the initial incision too high on the abdomen, instead of where it is best hidden, in the junction between thigh and abdomen laterally, and thigh and pubis medially.

Answer: I would like a second opinion, was my tummy tuck botched? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated. Based on your pictures it appears that your left breast implant has fallen too low on your chest (bottomed out) and would require a revision procedure to improve upon. As for your lower abdomen, it appears that some liposuction could take down the bulge and improve your appearance but this would need an in-person examination to confirm, as well as to ensure your muscle repair was appropriate. Hope this helps.
