Answer: Weight is stable 8 months after vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Can I get a tummy tuck and BBL? After a gastric sleeve, the weight loss occurs over a 12 – 24 month period. This period of time gives the skin the chance to tighten and adjust as the weight is lost. To qualify for a TT after weight loss, you must meet these criteria: Your weight has stabilized over a six month periodYou have no medical condition that can impair the healing processYou are a non-smokerYou have a positive outlook and realistic goals for the TT resultsYou are committed to proper nutrition, a fitness regimen, and a healthy lifestyle Consult via email or Skype with a board certified PS to determine the best path forward for you to achieve your end goals.

Answer: Tummy tuck with mesh If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
