What is the suggested time to use Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) after a tummy tuck?

I’m getting. Tummy tuck next week and have been reading HBOT is great for recovery but I can find any protocol on timing, frequency , time between sessions etc. Once a week? Twice a week? Also how many days post surgery before the first one ?

Really you don’t need it! Great for complex wounds especially in diabetics or smokers but in regular cases not required in my opinion. In complete. Wounds it’s usually daily but here are very few places that offer this.

Thank you for sharing your question.  HBOT is not necessary for recovery after a TT procedure and carries with it additional risks that should be discussed.  The only reason for possible treatment is threatened skin but this is not a typical indication.
