Can incision from extended tummy tuck be used to upward lift front of thighs?

Hi mstiff,Unfortunately , not. You might get am initial tiny lift of the anterior upper thigh, but this will not last long.You will need a full thigh lift to get a significant improvement. Thank you for sharing your question.  Unfortunately a tummy tuck will not pull "enough" that your thigh skin will be impacted.  Hope this helps.

When you tighten the abdominal skin it seems like it would pull up the skin on the front of the thighs. If it does the effect is minimal and doesn’t reproduce the effect of you pulling up the loose skin on the front the thigh.

if you have loose skin on thigh, then you will need thigh lift. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Even though it may appear to pull up your thigh skin when you lift, it will not last long. A separate thigh lift could tighten you upper thighs, and there are a few variations of this lift depending upon how much excess skin you have. I would suggest discussing this option for a later procedure with your surgeon.

The removal of excess skin on the abdomen will have little or no impact on the thighs.  That would need to be addressed with a thigh lift.  Hope this helps.

A tummy tuck will not be able to significantly change your thigh skin. The reason it appears that you can with your hands, is because you are only lifting the very superficial or top layer of skin which stretches and glides. The deeper layers of skin are very adherent to the ligament which that forms your groin crease and separates the thighs from the abdomen. A tummy tuck will not go past and release these attachments because many important blood vessels and nerves come out in this area. So once you let go of the tension most of your skin will relax back downwards. If you only have a small amount of sagging right near the abdomen, then it may be enough to make a difference.
