I got my breast implants several years ago. They are about 300cc’s over/ under the muscle saline. I have had children and think my breasts look good and aren’t that saggy. They always looked very natural. I am going to have a MM and wondering if I need a lift or I can just get a larger implant? I realize if one day I may need a lift down the road but wondering if I can get away with just larger maybe HP implant this time. I would like a bigger cup size. Thank you.

Answer: Breast lift or augmentation Dear Sensible956969, determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs. Answer: Lift or not Thank you for the question and photos but an examination is really needed as from the phot the breasts appear asymmetrical. So go on some complimentary consultations with experts and compare recommendations after a full examination and discussion of desired results Dr Corbin
