About a year ago I got 325cc put in under the muscle, I am not happy and I think they are too small still. I can’t decide if I want to go up 150cc or 200cc. I don’t want them to still be too small but I don’t want them to be too big that I ruin my body. I am 25 and 125lbs.
Answer: Going Bigger Good morning!200cc, no doubt- there is such a little difference between adding 150 or 200cc that you will likely second guess yourself well into the future if you choose the smaller of the two options. I find those 3D imaging systems to be so misleading, they are really only a marketing tool- try actual sizers or even the simple rice test! Sometimes technology only makes it worse!

Answer: Size This question is best answered by your surgeon who has examined and measured you. You do not want to get implants that are too heavy for your frame and tissue.

Answer: Implant size and type Dear fmaldarie7, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Breast Implant Revision - Should I go up 150cc or 200cc? I am not happy with my 325cc. Thank you for your question. While imaging technologies are always fun and can be very helpful, I do find that when discussing implant exchanges that the imaging becomes less helpful. Upsizing of implants is very personal and there is a lot more that goes into the decision of volume increased based on the patients goals and current implant type, size and profile. Generally speaking, 25cc is the equivalent of a shot glass worth of volume. Most patients will find that they need at least 100-150cc to achieve a perceivable increase in breast size when staying with saline or silicone gel implants. When going from saline to silicone gel, patients often need at least double that. Given your smaller frame, I would caution you from going too large with your implant size. Remember that your complication risk can also increase as implant volume increases. I would suggest scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon and that you spend some time finding a few goal photos to help illustrate your goals. Are you looking for more projection? Are you looking for more upper pole fullness? Are you looking for both? These questions can be easily answered by talking at length about your present concerns, your goals, the goal photos that you have and after consideration of your anatomy and the implants you currently have. I hope that this helps. I wish you all the best.
