Pain 6 months post op breast capsulorrhaphy. What are my options?

Most likely the surgeon placed sutures to create the capsulorraphy, which involved injury to adjacent nerves.  This most likely explains your pain pattern.  At this time, I recommend explantation and removal of the sutures, if possible.  Then later, consider a breast lift or fat transfer for restoring the desired look if pain has been relieved.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

I am sorry to hear about your pain after surgery. If your implant could be moved over safely, nerve blocks might be of some benefit. It is likely that a sensory nerve was pinched when the pocket was repaired. Otherwise, the implant and the sutures might need to be removed.
