Rhinoplasty can provide you with more defined nasal features. The middle and lower third of your nose currently blend together and there is room to improve the definition. Narrowing the tip, tip refinement sutures, reduction of the upper lateral cartilages, creation of a slight supratip break, as well as some careful defatting can make the nose more refined. The nose should complement the face and any rhinoplasty should take into account the profile, relative position of your cheeks and chin. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon who can use a 3D Imaging system such as the VECTRA to help you communicate the changes you wish to see. Btw, your RealSelf tag name is very creative ;) Good Luck!
Hello! Thank you for the question and photos. I believe that a rhinoplasty would certainly be a nice option for you in order to give better harmony to your face. The middle third of your face is dominated by your nose and some refinements made to create an aesthetically-pleasing nose for you and accentuate your periorbital region and cheeks/eyes. Without an examination, it is difficult to give recommendations. However, refinement of the tip and narrowing of your nasal dorsum are two techniques that I would suggest, given your frontal view photos. It is not possible to comment on your columella and nostrils/alae without other views or an exam. Hope that this helps! Best wishes!
Any nose can be changed surgically as can yours. Whether or not that is to your liking is something that requires close consultation with your plastic surgeon and can be aided by video imaging.
Rhinoplasty goals for bulbous tip , hump, and crooked nose are appropriate and will give you a more attractive nose with a better airway via a straighter nose as well. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who does natural noses you like.
Your nasal tip is not well defined (amorphous). A tip plasty will improve the definition and make it flow better with your sharp features.RegardsDr. J
Thank you for sharing. A complete in person exam is the best way to determine your needs. Your width and tip do have element of size that you may not like. More information and examination would be needed to determine what you exactly need. See an experienced board certified rhinoplasty surgeon. Good luck
You would benefit from a reduction of the lower cartilages of your nose to give your tip more definition and less bulbosity. The maneuvers to accomplish this are well defined and should be reproducible in your case. A profile photo can help to assess wether any reduction of your dorsum is also in order. Best wishes!
I think that your nose could be refined with a closed rhinoplasty and no visible scars. Find a rhinoplasty expert who produces natural results.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
If asked what feature of your face you would most like to change it is the nose. You have some harmony issues with your nose and may benefit from a rhinoplasty. Profile photos would be very helpful.
Thank you for the photos, but other views especially the worm's eye would be helpful. If you feel your nose is bulbous then a tip platy can be performed.
The left nostril is higher in the soft tissue triangle area. It is unlikely to change on its own. However, it is noticeable on the basal view only. Nobody looks at us in that direction so it is not as concerning. There is still a lot of healing to happen. The shape will change with time as well....
There is usually still swelling in the nose after 4 months from rhinoplasty. The amount of swelling at this stage depends a bit on whether your original surgery was an open or closed procedure. Also, if more work was done you'd likely have more swelling as well.Either way, it's a bit early to do...
This a good topic for discussion. A facial analysis and thorough examination of the nose would be necessary to determine the thickness of the skin cover, the proportion of bone to cartilage in your nasal hump and whether hump reduction, elevation of the root of the nose or a combination of...
