I have be using botox for a long time and never had a problem but i always stay up straight for more than 4 hours, Last night i had a botox procedure on my forehead and around my eyes, my doctor told me not to sleep for 3 hours, but after 2 hours i just fell asleep and I usually sleep on my sides, is this going to make a problem for my botox result? Im so worried

Answer: Laying down 2 hours after Botox Hello and thank you for your question. Although I also recommend staying upright for about 3 hours after treatment, it is because I like to be overly cautious. The Botox settles into the muscles within an hour, so unless there is heavy massage or pressure to the areas that were treated you should have no problem. Best of luck.

Answer: Will sleeping 2 hours after Botox cause a problem? I would expect you to have no problems from sleeping 2 hours after your Botox treatment. Some physicians will instruct patients to keep upright after the treatment, but I have never found any issues when patients are not upright after the injections.
