Is there anything I can do until my Botox wears off completely? (Photo)

Hi Ann.  Sorry to hear about your situation.  Yes, it is not uncommon for Botox when it wears off completely (like at 5 months for you) to have some areas present with movement before others.  Rest assured, when it's completely worn off all areas will go right back to where you were before you started using the product. Botox typically lasts for 3-4 months in most patients.  The effects of Botox will gradually wear off.  There is no way to remove or dissolve Botox, but as some areas start to wear off, the others should follow soon after.  I also always recommend speaking with the doctor who injected you with any questions or concerns.All the best,

Thank you for your question.  Botox generally lasts between 3-6 months.  If your botox is almost completely worn off, you should wait until all effects have subsided and your baseline has been reached if you are looking for a fresh start with a new provider.  It is important to get a proper consultation/assessment with a physician (ie: dermatologist, plastic surgeon or experienced physician injector) to discuss your goals and previous experience with the injections.   Best regards.

Hello thank you for the question. Unfortunately, there is no way to help make the Botox wear off faster or in a different pattern. However, at this time post injection, you should see the effects wear off completely in the next few weeks. You are almost there! Good luck!

Botox generally lasts for 3-4 months.  However, I have noted that in some patients the effects do last longer.  The good news is that the effects WILL wear off and that you will have no long lasting poor cosmetic results.  Just give it a little more time.

After 5 months, this is unlikely due to Botox. Botox results last up to 3-4 months and can be softened with venus legacy and thermage treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
