Can I get Botox while using Retin-A?

I am currently using Retin A and apply it usually 2-3 times per week. I also have an appointment scheduled for my first ever Botox treatment. Can I continue to use Retin A or should I stop using it altogether until after?

It is unlikely that rubbing on the injection site will impact the result of your treatment.  Wait about a week for your results to come in and if you continue to have any concerns at that point, I would recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with your provider to go over your results....

Typically one can start seeing results from Botox in 3-5 days.  Full effects are usually visible within 7-10 days.  It is possible that one side is showing Botox effects faster than the other side. It's also possible that there will be some asymmetry even a few weeks or months after inje...

Hello, thank you for the question. As Botox is used for deep-set wrinkles, I believe that you would be a good candidate for a routine Botox regiment. I would book an appointment with an experienced and reputable injector to learn more. Good luck!
