There are an infinite number of breast shapes and sizes, and many of them are more cone shaped than others. The technique that is best for you will be determined by the particular shape and size of your breasts as well as your goals. The best way to determine an appropriate plan is to meet with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who can discuss your options and help you achieve what you're looking for.
Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. It not possible to guide you without an examination or photos. When I hear cone shaped I think of a constricted breast. This is a breast that is small, tight, pointy with a short distance from the nipple to the fold of the breast. In a constricted breast the breast is often made more round by placing an implant and releasing the bottom tightness of the breast. Sometimes the skin is tightened around the areola to help make the breast pointiness flatten and take on the shape of the underlying implant. I really dont know if that is your situation without an exam or photos, but a board certified PS could help to guide you with an in person visit.Best wishes.
Dear 373, I see that you are considering your options for breast augmentation. It is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination and advice. You have to make sure that your surgeon understands the results that you want to achieve so your surgeon can formulate the best approach for the surgery. The cost of the surgery will vary depending on various factors like your location, the type of surgery, and your surgeon's credentials. Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. You may be a candidate for a breast augmentation. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Thanks for your question. It is difficult to recommend the best way to achieve your desired results without photos or an in-person examination. You may be describing a tuberous breast, which is defined by constriction of the lower portion of the breast and a high-riding breast fold. My best advice is to seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. Issues such as cost depend on the procedure that's performed, geographic area, amount of time required, and the need for implants. Be sure that you are comfortable with you surgeon and that all of your questions are answered before surgery. Good luck!
Without seeing photos or better yet evaluating you in person, it is difficult to say what would be appropriate for you.
Women with cone shaped breasts can usually have breast augmentation to repair this common breast deformity. Sometimes a breast lift on one or both sides is necessary for a complete correction. An examination by a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with this deformity is necessary to determine how best to give you the best results. I hope this helps.
If the nipple areola is normal and you do not have tuberous breast, a breast augmentation with implants can make the breasts rounder and less triangular shaped. Please consult at least two board certified plastic surgeons for opinions. If you have tuberous breasts you will likely need incisions around the areola.
Dear Boobies4Me, The clarity of the picture is a little difficulty to tell, but typically a stitch spitting up will look like a small whitehead and when you are able to see the material, you can pluck it out. You should at least contact your treating surgeon with photographs and e-mail.
I don't think it will help that much. Breast implants or fat is what is recommended. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic...
This may be just differences in the thickness of tissues or the strength of the underlying muscle. The most concerning thing might be a capsular contracture. Your surgeon should be able to examine you and give you recommendations.
