Why is my left breast a little softer than the right? Had BA 6 months ago.

If you note increasing firmness and if there is increased pain or change in shape then let your Plastic Surgeon know right away.All the best

Hello Blondie.Many patients have breast pain and it has nothing to do with the breast implant. However, the firmness and pain is a concern. These could be a sign of early capsule contracture. You need to be examined by your plastic surgeon for an appropriate diagnosis.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

Sometimes that can be normal and sometimes it can be a sign of a problem. Unfortunately, it isn't really possible to tell without an examination. Your plastic surgeon would have a better idea as they have been following you. I would suggest that you call the nurse at the office. That is a great place to start. You may need to go in for another evaluation.

This may be just differences in the thickness of tissues or the strength of the underlying muscle.  The most concerning thing might be a capsular contracture.  Your surgeon should be able to examine you and give you recommendations.
