There is a white bump on my incision line that has been there for about 2 weeks now. I'm currently 5 weeks post op. If so will it go away? Or do I need to do anything for it? My ps is out of state so I cannot go to him unfortunately.
Answer: Breast Augmentation Dear Boobies4Me, The clarity of the picture is a little difficulty to tell, but typically a stitch spitting up will look like a small whitehead and when you are able to see the material, you can pluck it out. You should at least contact your treating surgeon with photographs and e-mail.

Answer: Spitting suture following breast surgery There are many irregularities that can occur in the suture line after all types of surgery, ( spitting absorbable sutures, scar tissue, folliculitis or small cysts (milia). I would recommend a quick visit to your operating surgeon. It appears to be a small epidermal inclusion cyst that could be easily unroofed and extracted. Good luck to you.
