Dear rockermommy, Thanks for submitting your pictures. From observing your pictures, you appear to have skin and muscle laxity from the mid upper abdomen to the pubic bone. You also have diffuse stretch marks, irregular C section scar, unattractive belly button and your body posture is straining your back due to the protrusion of your tummy. Based on these findings, you will need full tummy tuck , which includes abdominal muscles and skin tightening and creation of new improved belly button. This procedure will be one of the best investment in yourself. It will increase your self esteem, sense of femininity and will make shopping fun again... The cost of tummy tuck in my surgery center is $8000 which includes the following: accredited surgery center, surgeon's fee, anesthesia fee, operating room fee, recovery room fee and standard post operative follow ups. If your quote includes all of the above, than you got a very low price for that procedure. Cost of surgery is important, but choosing the right doctor is more important, because if you will need corrective surgery, the cost will escalate significantly. You have to realize, that not all results are the same, because experience , skills and aesthetic eye are critical for good outcome. So, do your due diligence carefully and choose wisely. Always consult with experience board certified plastic surgeons , who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with flat stomach, low scar and nice belly button. Check also the reviews at 'Realself' for ratings and positive experience reports. As far as payment, if you have good credit, there are companies like Care credit , Prosper and others that will finance your surgery. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA.2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used? 3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?
Is that the fee for the surgeon only or does that include the operating room and anesthesia? You will find fees can vary greatly depending on your location and the experience of your surgeon. Be sure you choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, it's a good idea to get 2 or 3 consultations. Good luck.
I appreciateyour question.Cost variesby geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length ofprocedure etc. I would recommend that you go to The American Society ofPlastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeonsin your area. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotesprior to scheduling consultations. The best wayto assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see aboard-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorativeplastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. SchwartzBoardCertified Plastic SurgeonDirector-BeverlyHills Breast and Body Institute#RealSelf100Surgeon
The price for a tummy tuck varies among practitioners as well as geographic region. A price of $6000 for a tummy tuck is frankly quite low. Please be certain that the surgeon who gave you this price is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Many factors go into choosing a surgeon, and I would caution you about simply choosing the surgeon with the lowest price. Qualifications and experience matter the most. Most offices offer financing options through outside companies. This is something you will need to inquire about at the office or you have your surgery. Best wishes to you!
Thank you for your pictures. In Atlanta, tummy tuck pricing ranges from approximately $6500.00 -9500.00. Your price is very competitive. Best wishes
First of all thank you for the question. There are many factors in the wide range of Tummy Tuck pricing. It depends on the geographical area you are located in, the facility the surgery is performed at, your surgeons credentials. In my practice the price for a Full Tummy Tuck is $6,875.00. This includes your surgeon fee, follow up checks, the use of the OR suite, the anesthesia, and recovery time. As always, I recommend that you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best of Luck.
A fee of $6000 is more than reasonable for a tummy tuck in 2016. Financing options are available. Contact your BCPS for an appointment when you are ready. DrBurnett#realself100
I have to agree with Dr. Miles. Although pricing will range geographically and even within a region, understanding what is included is critical. Does this include facility and anesthesia? Does it include any liposuction of the flank area to ensure ideal contouring circumferentially? Where is the procedure being performed? If it is in the office, is it a certified facility? If this is your total fee, then it is quite low for this region. If it is your surgeon's fee, it is a very competitive. Ensuring that your surgeon is board certified my the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has adequate experience performing this procedure is critical. Based on the pictures that you provided, you should expect an excellent result. Good luck on your journey.
Thank you for your question. $6000 is indeed a very reasonable quote for a tummy tuck. We perform a Brazilian liposuction tummy tuck and charges can range from eight to $10,000 . Best of luck in your endeavors!
Thank you for the question and photo. This is what we call a "dog ear" which can be easily corrected in the office under local. It is difficult to comment on the budge without examining you. It is best to consult your board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
Thank you for the question. It is difficult to answer your question without examining you. It is common practice to use a wound VAC to treat open wound post TT. It is great for this types of wound as it it can heal faster. I would recommend for you to follow instructions from your board...
