I had tummy tuck and lipo today. I am bleeding from the back which has bled through the binder. Should I change the binder ot leave it on for the 24-48 hrs they recommend. And at what point should I go into emergency? It's been about 12 hrs since the surgery.

Answer: Bleeding Post Lipo Hello and thank you for reaching out. Bleeding is very common after an area has had liposuction, and also common for the blood to bleed through the garment. Continue to follow all instructions from your surgeon, especially the time the binder is to be worn for the first couple of days. If the amount of blood on your garment is alarmed, please touch base with your surgeon PRIOR to going to the emergency room. There is a high chance what you are experiencing is completely normal. Best Wishes.
