You should find out if you had a urinary catheter placed during surgery. Sometimes that can lead to some difficulties urinating, but these usually resolve on their own. If you have any real difficulty, you should definitely follow up with your plastic surgeon as soon as possible. Good luck!

Typically, a patient will be given one dose of antibiotics during  the surgery, and that is probably enough.You should inquire as to your plastic surgeon's practice.  Best wishes.

I personally use permanent sutures, but dissolving sutures will not separate after they heal either, so both of them are good. Best luck!

You may experience more swelling that would delay your recovery. The girdle also provides support for the incision(s) and helps your skin conform to your new leaner shape. If you are experiencing pain when you wear your girdle, I suggest you speak with your surgeon. It might not fit properly.
