Revision at 8/9 months - is this safe?

As far as I can understand from your questionIt takes a full year for the nose to take its shape after surgery. If the result is not good enough for you at the end of 1 year, you can meet with your surgeon and create a planning, if you can send 2 photos from the front and side profile, it will be possible to make an accurate evaluation.

Your photograph reveals a slight curve in the columella, and the clinical significance of this is uncertain. Generally speaking, the feasibility for revision rhinoplasty before one year postoperative is largely dependent upon somebody's examination. We are looking for resolution of swelling. Hello and thank you for your question. The timing for a revision really depends on your individual anatomy. For some types of noses, it is best to wait 1-2 years prior to revision. For others such as thin skin, over-projection, over-rotation, etc, I will sometimes offer revision as soon as eight months post-op depending on your anatomy. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

I would say wait the full year. There is a reason why almost EVERYONE adheres to it! Good luck!

Many plastic surgeons typically recommend waiting 12 months before doing rhinoplasty revision surgery to allow for the very last bit of swelling to have subsided.
The amount of patients can expect to see during the last three months is quite small.
Each plastic surgeon will have their own view on this.
Sometimes it depends on what is being revised best,
