Hello, hope you are well. Between the two options, I would recommend forehead reduction as a primary procedure and hair grafting as a possible secondary procedure. This can both lower the hairline and feminize the appearance by creating a rounder shape. Cheers,Dr. Tower
I agree with the other surgeon in that you look like a very good candidate for the Hairline Advancement procedure. This procedure can be combined with a browlift, but it can be done without lifting the brows at all. The procedure leaves you with a very fine irregular scar at the hairline. The incision is normally made with the trichophytic technique so that the hair will ultimately grow through the scar, helping to hide it even better. The scar is very rarely an issue at all. We could even keep that little peak of hair in the front. Hair transplants done in women with the goal of lowering the hairline look terrible, especially in someone with dark straight hair. So, I think the Hairline Advancement is by far the better procedure for you.
Hairline lowering withe the Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Procedure with or without Browlift.will give the best result based on the more than 5000 of these I have done since inventing this. Make sure you see examples of this with the hair pulled back to evaluate the hairline after surgery they’ve had no infection, bleeding, etc. only if an occasional pimple. This way you will have natural hair texture unlike the kinkiness that occurs with hair transplants.
Considering the size and width of your forehead, I believe you are a good candidate for a forehead reduction surgery. This procedure involves advancing the hair-bearing scalp forward to reduce the height and width of the forehead, resulting in more balanced and proportionate facial features....
Although I am not a hair graft specialists it looks that hair grafts would do better job than scar excision. You should advance the hairline further. Hope this helps.
In order to achieve hairline elevation of 1,5 cm coronal brow lift with incision placed 3-4 cm behinds the hairline would be good option. In person consultation with a board certified who has experience with this procedure is recommended. Good luck.
