Hairline forehead lifting/elevation

Question

Hello doctors, Can I raise/elevate my hairline with a balloon tissue expander underneath my forehead skin with an endoscopic forehead lift approach or do I have to do the traditional hairline opening approach? Id like to reverse a hairline lowering surgery that was over reduced. My forehead skin is very tight and I would like to get 1.5 cm of hairline elevation in the center of my forehead to make it rounded and feminine again. What are my options & where does the expander get inserted from?

In order to achieve hairline elevation of 1,5 cm coronal brow lift with incision placed 3-4 cm behinds the hairline would be good option. In person consultation with a board certified who has experience with this procedure is recommended. Good luck.

Tissue expansion of the bald forehead skin in order to raise the hairline. I described this 30 years ago in my textbook, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the scalp. It is done through a hairline incision and the forehead tissue is expanded over a few weeks in order to create enough less to raise the hairline. All this is going on patients will need to wear a scarf or some covering because otherwise people will continually look at you! I would need to see you in person to determine if you were a candidate for this procedure
