I currently have 410 breast implants and having a revison done on friday to fill in the large gap between my breast and havng larger implants put in i keep tossing and trning between 560 and 615! im scared that after the sweling goes down i will be dissapointed with th 560 but i dont want to look like a circus freak with 615(i do like the look of large breast but) i know after the swelling goes down and being put behind the muscle(which i am doing) makes them look smaller.i weigh about 55-60kgs
Answer: Size choice on large implants
The sizes you are considering (560cc vs 615cc) are fairly large breast implants, which are associated with more complications than smaller sized implants. The difference of 55cc may not make a very big difference in your size in the end, however the extra weight of the larger size will lead to more stress and stretch on your breast tissue. This could lead to you another revision in the future. I think you should have your plastic surgeon show you these two different size implants and consider the ramifications of selecting the larger one.
No one can tell you which implant is right for you, but we do know that larger implants do have more future complications.
Best wishes,
Dr.Bruno

Answer: Deciding between two different implants
When choosing between two different sizes, try sizers on to help you decide. Try a 5 oz sizer and a 7 oz sizer to differentiate between the two.

Answer: Very Large Breast Implants Usually will Lead to Some Regret
Hi there-
For a woman your size, both of the implants you mention are fairly large...
And I strongly agree with Dr. Aldea as well- the appropriate way to select implants for any individual patient should involve not only her goal for appearance, but also a detailed understanding of her anatomy and the dimensions of her body. This is the "one right result" concept.
When implant are used that are significantly larger than what would be appropriate using the above concept, the patient will likely experience a negative long term change in the appearance and comfort of her breasts as gravity and the weight of the large implants combine to cause a marked loss of skin quality and marked excess of skin quantity. At that point, a well-done breast lift may help, but the loss of skin quality will NEVER be able to be restored.
I also do not necessarily agree that better cleavage (if you currently have a bit of a gap between your breasts) will require a larger implant.
Be careful with this. Make sure you are doing what will keep you safe and make you happy- not just in the short term, but in the longer term as well.

Answer: Choosing between two implants
The volume difference is not that great between the two implants. I would at this point allow the surgeon to use his judgement regarding which one looking better.

Answer: Gap between the breasts or the (old) Tory Spelling look
Dear Ms. Revision Australia. Well good luck with your surgery. I'm posting this on the day of your case. I think, since you are in Australia! Anyway, if in fact you are doing this because you want your breasts to be larger then as others have said don't fret about one implant vs the other - not that much difference. Just be aware that you will lose 20% of the apparent volume if what you liked was by trying them on. If on the other hand you are trying to get rid of the gap, a larger implant really isn't necessarily the answer. the answer may be correctly opening the pocket wide enough toward the sternum (in the center) so that with an average bra your breast implants will move easily toward the middle.
