He is often sought out for his expertise and exceptional skill in primary and revision breast augmentation surgery. “For every woman that I put breast implants in for the first time, I have two patients who’ve had breast surgery somewhere else and are unhappy,” says Dr. Soto. “I make revisions, so their results look more natural.” Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Soto is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He operates in a state-of-the-art, AAAASF-certified surgical facility in Orlando, Florida.
Dr Soto is the best cosmetic surgeon in Orlando. Not anyone else who claims to be in Orlando Magazine! He did a mommy makeover - breast lift and tummy tuck and did an amazing natural looking job. He has also done my upper eyelids. Again, absolutely perfect. I wish he did face lifts too because I went to another surgeon for that in Winter Park and it was a complete disaster. That is why i am leaving a five star review for Dr Soto. Seeing the dire standard of the other surgeons who claim to be "the best" you must never rely on their advertising when you choose who to go with. Go by the testimonials on here.
I am a 30 y/o mom of 4. Breastfed all four kids and was left with sagging breasts and low nipples. I've wanted my boobs lifted since having my first child however, decided to wait until I was finished having children to find a surgeon to give me, my youthful breasts back. I've researched several surgeons over the last 3 years and finally landed on Dr. Soto's instagram and realself page. Loved the results I was seeing and decided to book a consultation. I went for my consultation in December. He was very professional and showed me examples of his work and the results he thinks he can give me. He made me feel very comfortable from the get go. I originally wanted to do a breast lift with implants but during my exam he explained that if that was the route I wanted to go then it needed to be done in two separate surgeries due to having grade 3 sagging. So that is still an option on the table currently. He suggested I do the lift first and then after 3 months, reassess and see if I still want to do the implants once I'm healed up from the lift. Although he believes he can give me, my desired look without the implants so I'm very hopeful for that. My goal is to look as natural as possible so if I can do this without an implant I'm all for it. He is also going to do an areola reduction. I've had large breasts my entire life, never below a full D cup. Currently I am a 32DDD. So a minor reduction was discussed. I will attach my before pictures and a picture of what he showed me, that my results could look like. My pre op appointment is set for February 21 and then my surgery is scheduled for March 10. Im very excited and a little nervous but ultimately ready to reclaim my body and feel beautiful and sexy again. Updated on 19 Mar 2023: Surgery day has come and gone. Day of surgery went so smoothly. Arrived, anesthesia came in and placed my iv, nurse gave me my anti-nausea meds, (I placed my anti-nausea patch behind my ear the night before as instructed). Dr. Soto came in and marked my breasts and then back to the surgery suite we went. Everyone made me super comfortable, not even enough time to be nervous. I was comfortable and excited. Before I realized it, I was asleep and the surgery was over, and I was waking up in recovery. I had to stay close by in a hotel for the night just in case of an emergency. The nurse Valerie who took care of me in recovery, called to check on me that night and the next morning. Everything was moving along smoothly so I was released to go home. Over the next few days, I took all of my meds exactly as i was supposed to that way I didn't have any unnecessary pain that would increase my blood pressure or heart rate. By Monday (PO Day 3) I stopped taking my pain meds and switched to Tylenol only. By Wednesday (PO Day 5) I no longer needed the Tylenol. I am now PO Day 9 and already feeling so much better. I get super tired and worn out pretty easily after small tasks like folding laundry, but I've just been listening to my body and resting whenever I feel like I need to. I figure if I'm tired it's because my body needs to rest as its working in overdrive to heal. Around PO Day 4 the itching started, and they still itch but it's becoming less and less. I'm still having occasional sharp pains (zingers) but not as many as the first few days. the first few days the sharp pains were pretty painful, but they only lasted for a few seconds, so it was more than manageable. I would say the hardest thing for me, has been sleeping on my back propped up in bed but sleep is getting easier every day. I definitely needed my husband's help the first 3 days. You can't use your arms to push up or anything, so he helped me get in and out of bed, he always set the timer and got me up to walk every 2 hours as instructed by Dr. Soto. He helped me get onto the toilet and he also had to help me shower for the first 6 days. He helped me get dressed and dry my dressings everyday even to this day. Having someone with you for the first week is absolutely essential. I would not have been able to do any of this without him. I had my first post op visit last Tuesday (PO Day 4) where Dr. Soto said everything looked great and to keep doing everything I've been doing. He also changed my walking from every 2 hours to every 4-6 hours which was super helpful with sleeping. While sleeping I've been wearing my inflatable leg cuffs as directed that he provided to prevent blood clots. Anyway, bruising started the very next day, but it was very light-yellow bruising. They were very swollen for the first 3 days and then started subsided a little bit every day as did the bruising. At PO Day 9 the swelling and bruising is almost gone. I go back for my second post op visit on Thursday (PO Day 13) where he said he would be removing my tapes. I'm trusting him but at the same time I've gotten used to the tapes being there and they give me comfort that my incisions are secure. But I am excited to see my areolas and see what my scar lines look like. As far as the surgical bra goes, I actually really like it. I bought a second one from his office so i could alternate and wash them. It's very comfortable and makes my breasts feel secure. I do place gauze pads over the tapes just to keep the band of the bra from aggravating them while I'm sleeping. Oh, I did have some drainage, which is normal, but it was very minimal and now that the swelling is mostly gone the drainage has stopped as of PO Day 7. If anyone has any questions, just ask. I absolutely recommend Dr. Soto 100%. Hes been incredible and so far, I am extremely pleased with the whole experience. His entire staff is wonderful, and his nurse Valerie is awesome! I'll try to update again after my next appt. Updated on 6 Jul 2023: So my breast lift journey has been going great since my last update. I am absolutely thrilled with my results. It's summer and I am thoroughly enjoying my breasts in all the swim suits. I am obsessed with buying them. HAHA. My confidence is restored. Self esteem: restored! I feel 100% better and so grateful to Dr. Soto and his team! So I am posting pictures from 6weeks up to this point in my healing journey. Just to update from my last entry: At 4 weeks I had a suture abscess that ended up infected but was taken care of with some antibiotics and debridement. Took a couple weeks to heal up from that but it wasnt anything I couldn't handle. Dr. Soto was amazing at seeing me a couple times a week until it was 100% healed. He and his team were on it and I am so thankful to them! At 7 weeks, I was completely cleared to resume normal activities and start working out again. My scars are healing nicely and Im very impressed with the way that they look. I kept having a reaction to wearing the paper tape so Dr. Soto recommended I stop taping and instead use the scar treatment gel 2x a day. I love the gel he recommends. I get it in his office. It's called Regenacyn Plus. It seems to work very well. My scars have not turned purple at all and they have stayed a nice lighter pink color as they are fading. They get lighter and lighter as the weeks go by. Even with not being able to tape, I still feel they look rather good. Im excited to see how much they disappear over the next 6-12 months. Past the 7 week mark there has not been anything major to update on. Just living my life, enjoying my new boobs and all of the cute tops that I can wear now. Like I said, I'm obsessed with buying bathing suits and I can't stop shopping for all the bralettes, crop tops, workout tops, sportbras etc. It's actually getting a bit ridiculous. HAHA. Anyway, if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I'll do my best to check this over the next couple of weeks so I can respond. I absolutely recommend Dr. Soto. He gave me exactly what he said he would. He fully delivered! I am so incredibly happy with my results and it was the best decision I've ever made for myself. As a mom of four kids I'm always doing for them and I NEEDED this for me. I feel confident, and sexy again. I feel better than I've ever felt about myself now and it was worth every single penny and recovery time. Best money I've ever spent! Ill update again in a few months just to show how my scars are progressing!
This Surgeon is fabulously talented, experienced, personable and a true perfectionist. Supremely confident (as he should be) and totally capable to improve looks, quality of life and self confidence. Dr. Soto seriously exceeded my expectations at every step, from the consult to surgery and post op checkups, he is the consummate professional. I highly recommend and encourage anyone desiring this surgery to seek his services.
Had a small issue with coolsculpting I had done at this office. They were responsive and rectified this situation perfectly! So impressed that went back for fillers and botox. Amy is absolutely amazing! She is so kind and professional. I have been getting injections for the past twenty years at various places but now I and am extremely happy with Amy's recommendations, techniques, and results! Will be staying with her! Excellent work!
Dr. Soto and his staff are the absolute best ESPECIALLY Nurse Leinny- she is a God sent! She's so patient and her and Dr. Soto have amazing bed side manners. I had 3 consultations prior to him and he was the most informative by far. He was patient during our consult, explained EVERYTHING and I was not pressured in to booking/finalizing my surgery even though I did call back in and schedule my procedure from the parking lot after walking out LOL. After having my surgery his staff was extremely helpful. They had me to download 2 apps to my phone as a means of communicating while the office was closed. I am now 8 weeks post op and still seeing him weekly until he sees fit that I am ready to be discharged-not like the other "chop shops" that leave you to heal on your own. I am beyond impressed with my results thus far and I know I'll look even better once all of the swelling has gone down. I guess the saying is true you get what you pay for because yes, Dr. Soto's prices were a little more expensive than the other consultations I received but his work is deserving of every cent paid.
I have had small boobs my whole life (until now) and it always made me self conscious.. I always told myself when I am financially stable I’m going to do something about it. I was referred from a friend who’s starting point was similar to mine so I booked a consultation. I had originally planned to check out multiple facilities but when I visited Dr Sotos office the staff was amazing and Dr Soto was so genuine. I asked him “what cup size do you recommend” and he simply said..I will make them look beautiful and you find whatever bra fits. I loved that. I showed him some photos the day of the procedure and asked that he make them as big as possible but still natural and fitting for my body type. Which is exactly what I got!!! I’m in love and I have absolutely no regrets. Now I’m 5 months post op and my scars are almost non existent and they look natural!! Thank you so much Dr Soto!
It has been 2 months since my procedure. Amy at Dr. Soto’s Office in Orlando, Fl did the procedure and she was absolutely amazing. She injected my armpits to numb them and the procedure took about 15 minutes each arm. She set the machine to level 5, which was the highest. I applied ice for the next 24-48 hours to help with the swelling. It was uncomfortable the day off due to the swelling but very little pain as I was still numb. The next day it felt like a had a terrible sunburn in my armpits and was pretty uncomfortable but by day 3-4 the pain was pretty much gone. Swelling remained for the next week and I did get some lumps that eventually went away. About 2 weeks in I went through the purging stage which lasted 1-2 weeks. Fast forwarding to now, 2 months later, I do not wear deodorant 99% of the time. The 1% of the time to do apply very little to my right armpit as I still develop a very mild odor on a hot day. Additionally I’ve notice my armpit hair is pretty much gone. I’m super happy with the results and will decide ext summer if I want to have a second procedure done.
Only doing a review because I lived on this site pre & post op, looking for similar procedures (and I chose the best surgeon ever, so he deserves a review). I've always had saggy breast, and what I thought was extra breast tissue in my armpit region. It wasn't until I went to see Dr. Soto for liposuction that I was informed I actually had a slight breast deformity - ptosis 3 tubular breast. Dr. Soto respectfully informed me why my breast were so droopy, and that liposuction would not help get the goal I was desiring. He instead explained he could perform an anchor lift which would result in a youthful, perky and pretty breast shape. I had other consultations scheduled after him, but after speaking with him and seeing his amazing bedside manner and dedication to safety, I cancelled the others & booked my surgery with him that same day. The fact that he didn't try to also push liposuction really made me trust him and his judgement - Vs other surgeons wanting to perform any & everything, only for their benefit. He definitely has your best interest at heart & is very realistic about getting you to your goal image/body. I ended up also asking him for implants to make sure I got the shape and fullness that I really wanted. I showed him goal photos, and trusted him to make the best decision based on my body. I think he said I would be around his 3,500 breast augmentation, and his work 100% showed his talent. He's a true artist, I'm still in shock at how amazing my results are!!! My friends and family don't even believe the photos I show them are actually me. I am only 6 weeks post op and they look better every day. Photos speak for themselves. I also looked through hundreds of results from surgeons around the country, and Dr. Soto had some of the best scar results I had ever seen. Being in my 20s, that was a huge concern of mine and I am so so happy I went with him. My scars are already barely noticeable and continue to face. I only wish I had done this sooner!! The entire office (nurses, PA, coordinator, front desk) is beyond sweet, always making you feel comfortable and going out of their way to accommodate you. After surgery, Dr. Soto saw me at least 5 times within the first month to monitor my healing - just goes to show how much they really care for each patient. If my friends & family ever need any work done, I will be sure to send them to Dr. Soto and his wonderful office!!
I’ve always been a yo-yo dieter. I’ve also had 3 kids that spanned from 2004 to 2016. At my highest weight I was 215 pounds. Somewhere between 2016 and 2020, I lost about 25 pounds. In January of this year, I weighed in at 188 and I decided enough was enough. So I started my journey. It never even occurred to me to get a lower body lift at that point. I just wanted to lose the weight. Well, in July, I broke into the 140’s. I was so pleased with my commitment, however I was left with a ton of skin after the babies and weight loss. I have very fair skin and have been told the fairer the skin, the thinner and therefor more saggy. Of course! I decided to go see Dr. Soto, after having a few other consultations with other doctors. I don’t know what it was but I felt more comfortable that he knew exactly how to mold me. I had my Lower body lift surgery on July 29th so I’m now 5 days post op. The first few days were rough. The first night I had immense acid reflux that wouldn’t go away. They tried, I just have a history of acid reflux and I would usually control it with Nexium. Well because my muscles were stitched and tightened, it put on that extra pressure and the acid just traveled upward. This was actually the worst part the first day. I opted for the Exparel, which I think was a huge reason I wasn’t in immense pain. It lasted for the first 3 days and now I just take a painkiller as needed, which isn’t often. Another side effect I wasn’t prepared for was the phlegm. It’s a side effect of the anesthesia but once you get that tickle in your throat, it’s very difficult not to cough. Coughing is not fun when you’ve had your muscles fixed. However, sometimes it’s necessary to rid yourself of the phlegm. On day 5, it doesn’t hurt as much as it did on day 2. So my biggest complaint up to this point has really been the acid reflux. I’m trying to learn how to control it with the foods that I eat. I’m instructed not to drink water and to opt for the fruit juices and Gatorades (something that won’t wash away those important electrolytes). Apple juice proved to be an acid builder so now it’s just Gatorade. It’s all trial and error for me right now but I wanted to share my first before and after photos with you all. Dr. Soto and his team have been very helpful, as I have had a lot of questions along the way. I was so sure he would have to do liposuction, however he did not and I’m still very pleased with my new body, even as heavily swollen as it is. I cannot wait to see my final result! You will see a pic of me at 215, then a before surgery body pic at 149 and then 1 day post op. Updated on 7 Aug 2020: Feeling better today. My swelling finally seems to be going down. Itching has increased dramatically but I’m sure that’s to be expected as I heal. I moved from Gatorade to Vitamin Water since Gatorade has sodium which will make me swell. Here’s a photo taken today. I go in for my next appt in 3 days and I’ll most likely be able to take my second drain out. Fingers crossed! Updated on 12 Aug 2020: I think I’m starting to turn the corner. Both drains are out and I’m starting to take care of my incisions. Now, taking the tape off of them to begin with wasn’t fun at all, in fact, it took me so long that I started getting dizzy and feeling faint from having my waist trainer off. I feel so much better having them on at this point. Basically the only complaints I have right now (if I’m going to call them that) is pain at the drain sites, itchy skin, obvious swelling, and I still have to watch myself with the acid reflux. However it’s hard to really call them complaints when I’m so grateful for this process and I’m feeling so much better than I was. I’m going to add a few pictures. I don’t know if the swelling has gone down much but I expect it will take a few more weeks to see a much better improvement. Updated on 16 Aug 2020: I’m 18 days post op today. Just wanted to share a picture of my rear incision. It’s healing ahead of my front incision. It itches like nobody’s business but I try to refrain from reaching back there to scratch it. Still severe swelling as you can see from the picture. Updated on 19 Aug 2020: I’m now 3 weeks post op. Back incisions aren’t as itchy but looking better every day. Front incision is improving but not as quickly as the back. I went and got my hair colored today. First time I drove anywhere myself and I was totally fine. Only thing was that I couldn’t turn to see my blind spot. Swelling is going down very slowly. You can’t notice so much from the front though. Not much else to report! Updated on 27 Aug 2020: Today I am 4 weeks, 1 day post op. I’m feeling good. My hips are sore from the drain sites still but it’s not too bad. My incisions are looking great! Especially my rear incision. It’s so flat and thin! My only issue is the extreme itching. It’s almost enough to make me crazy right now and I can’t take Benadryl.. I’m still quite swollen but I’m starting to see more shape in my hips. They put me into a smaller waist trainer which I’m happy about. I’m hoping it will sculpt me a lot more. At my next appointment, they will most likely remove sutures from my belly button, woohoo! Still sleeping in my recliner because my bed is so incredibly soft that it takes more core strength to get up. That’s about it for now though. Not much else has changed. Pics added! Updated on 10 Sep 2020: I made it! 6 wpo as of yesterday. I’m so happy with my results. Dr. Soto is amazing!! I’ll admit, in the beginning I was worried about my shape. I had to keep reminding myself that it was just swelling. When I took pics of myself today, I was so happy and amazed to see my curves! I’m feeling great! I still have some itching and redness from healing and the tape irritation but that’s about it. I can go without my garments if I want, however I’ve chosen to keep them on for extra shaping. :) Updated on 25 Sep 2020: So I hit 8 weeks a few days ago. I feel amazing! I went from a size 12 to a size 6 and I’m absolutely loving getting dressed up now! I used to dread looking for clothing to cover up my excess skin. I’m still taping my scars for protection and using a silicon gel to help it along. I can bend freely now with no pain. I’m still not twisting much, as I don’t want to disrupt my muscle repair. I swell a lot during the day, but that’s to be expected. Waiting for the 3 month mark to see more final results!
Dr Armando is truly a perfectionist. He did such an amazing job on my Mommy Makeover. I waited 20 years for this procedure and I never expected to be this happy. My abdomen was a mess and I was so insecure it affected so much of my happiness. He has restored my confidence and I have the cutest belly button! Best decision I have ever made to choose him as my surgeon.
Hi there, Without examining you in person, and having the benefit of a careful conversation with you to discuss your history, lifestyle, and most importantly your goals, it would be very difficult or impossible to advise you responsibly. Having said that, I deliver that because you have had those 4 babies, it is unlikely you are going to be pleased with your appearance were you to proceed with liposuction at this point, and muscle repair will be necessary. Good luck!
Hi there,Unfortunately, only your surgeon can responsibly answer this question for you, because it will depend on details only they understand. These would include how your original surgery was done and exactly what is planned at this time.Your best bet is to ask your surgeon this question.Good luck!
Hi there,As respectfully as I can, I would say to you that it isn't a good idea for you to "crowdsource" your plastic surgery experience. I love Realself- and obviously participate here- it is an amazing resource for patients like yourself to learn about what we do, how we do it, and what you might experience along your journey to your "real self". But I think many patients go astray when they use this platform (or others) INSTEAD of communicating with their doctor or his office. If you've already chosen a surgeon you like and that you trust, and you did so for all the right reasons (Board Certification, beautiful examples of their work, reviews, etc...), then you should ask your surgeon this question. The reason they are the only person alive who can answer this question for you is because the real question you are asking is, "Am I going to achieve my goals with the procedure I have already planned?"... And obviously only he/she can answer that.I think you appear to be an excellent candidate for breast enhancement- but only your surgeon knows exactly what they are planning and whether or not it is likely to give you the shape shown in the photos you submitted.I hope that makes sense- good luck!
Hi there,You appear to have very small breasts with some asymmetry and a constricted lower pole (or tubular) deformity. This could be dramatically improved through a relatively minor procedure, which would also allow reduction of your areolas.Visit an excellent surgeon in your area who can show you many examples of their excellent work and discuss your options and goals.Good luck!
Hi there,You do appear ago show a minor case of gynecomastia in your photos, but I would hasten to say that this could only be determined for sure on exam.Find a qualified and Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area and pay them a visit. There are many good options for management that don't necessarily involve surgery or scars, although depending on your exam this may be necessary.Good luck!
