Everything was quick straight to the point and I love my results. I had an implant removal and replace so I knew the process before going under. Dr Young has been doing this for many years , so I trusted his suggestions about going bigger with my implants, and I’m so glad I did! I had almost no pain after surgery was up moving around the next day.
After seeing a few surgeons I chose Dr. Young based on his reviews and his staff. He was not a man of much words but I had done my research so I didn’t have many questions. The staff was really helpful and kind. Updated on 18 May 2022: I have uploaded pictures from the first month. The hardest part was not being able to carry my one year old. Day 4 was the hardest. I was in so much discomfort and sleeping upright was difficult. There wasn’t much pain more tightness and soreness which lasted the whole month. The incision sites were painful but more like a stretching pain not too too bad just very annoying. Currently 5 weeks and the soreness is finally almost gone, parts of the breast are still a little numb but they are already pretty soft. I am able to carry my toddler without pain although it still feels weird like my boobs are in the way. Updated on 18 May 2022: Breastfed for 11 months. First picture: I had just stopped nursing vs 2 weeks post op. I wanted my perky boobs back and wanted them a little bigger than when I was breast feeding. Second picture: One month post op. The right one is still higher. Also, I started lactating around week 2 even though I stopped about 6 months ago. It was only a little but it was weird. It has stopped by now. I decided on 375cc saline medium profile and I'm so happy i did!! I can't wait until they fluff out and settle in the next couple months i was already up and walking same day post op just up my hallway and back and today i did a lap around my building. Pain is a 5/10 due to pressure and definitely some discomfort but not as bad as i anticipated 10/10 don't regret doing this
Amazing!! From consultation to procedure and even after care Dr. Young and his team are hands down the best of the best. I must say I was hesitant on the actual surgical procedure but Dr. Young and his team talked to me and told me everything that was happening. Post Op was amazing, the pain was well... No where close to what I had imagined. I was up and talking shortly after and on my way home. I can not express my gratitude enough for making this the absolute best experience. Thank you all.
I was wanting to get a breast augmentation for the past three years now, and I was finally able to get it done this month. I’m a mother of one, who breastfed. I’ve always been small, but my daughter literally sucked away anything I had, so I’m ecstatic that I was finally able to get this done. After reading several reviews, I knew I wanted to get it done by Dr. Young. It was right in my price range, and I’m already so happy with the results, and I just got it done on March 25th. Updated on 3 Apr 2021: It’s now been 9 days post op, and most pain has gone away completely. The only thing that bothers me, is the numbness in my breast. I also have numbness behind my arms, near my armpits.. and I’m assuming that’s due to the incisions being in my armpits. Updated on 8 Apr 2021: It’s now been 2 weeks, since the surgery. Now that the swelling has been going down, I’m kinda having boob greed, and wish I went just a little bit bigger.. but I still love them. Can’t wait to see what they look like in a few months. Updated on 22 Apr 2021: I made it, to one month! The nerve issues I was having near my armpits, has mostly went away, and the “morning boob” has also subsided. Still wearing my compression bra, and sleeping at an incline. I have my one month appointment next week, but overall I’m feeling good. Still so happy with this decision! Updated on 25 May 2021: I officially made it to two months! At my last appointment, I got the ok to wear a normal bra, so I went to Victoria’s Secret. They measured me, and told me I was a DD. I love them more, and more each day. Updated on 29 Aug 2021: I haven’t posted an update in a while, so I figured I’d share a little 5 month update! I’m definitely still loving them more, and more each day! It still feels a little weird shaving my armpits, where the incisions are, but other than that, everything has healed nicely!
So I've been looking to do breast augmentation on and off but never went through with it bc the doctors never really talked to me. I researched again this year and found Dr. Young who had amazing reviews. My consultation was great and Dr. Young actually answered my questions and helped ease my anxiety about anesthesia. I am a B cup and sizers I tried were 350-450 CC-end goal was a natural as possible look. I had my breast augmentation today! I was so nervous and had so much anxiety the pre-op part was probably the worst for me. I felt like a little stress ball. The anesthesiologist was also very warm towards me and I felt safe with them. I woke up talking about emails for work lol after it was over. The nurses moved me to the recovery room and stayed monitoring me the whole time. Overall just an awesome team! I took nausea medication 3 hrs before surgery and that helped tremendously. I didn't immediately feel pain probably because I had so much medication. I only felt a little dizzy so I definitely needed help walking. So I got home and got comfy with a wedge pillow. I want hungry just really thirsty and hot tea definitely helped the sore throat I got. About 4 hrs later I started feeling the tightness and pressure and stinging on my armpits. I was very coherent after my friend taking care of me was very surprised. About 4 hrs later is also when I ate drank a shake and had some goldfish to take my pain meds. I started feeling nauseous off and on after I took the pain med and after the muscle spasm med. So far feeling pretty good just extremely bloated and only occasional muscle spasm and stinging pain. Very excited to see the outcome! Posted before pics and current with wraps and markings. Updated on 13 Feb 2021: Not sure if I mentioned but to give you all more of a timeliness I went for surgery Thursday at 9:30 & left by 1 pm. By 9 pm I think all the good drugs were wearing off because nausea hit me so hard! I took the nausea medication prob a little too late so I had on and off horrible nausea until midnight. I took my 2nd dose of hydrocodone and also started feeling numbness and tingling in my jaw and swelling on the left side of my face which made me panic (I have anxiety *cue mini panic attack*). I called the Doctors office after hours and was connected to Dr. Young himself who said this was normal and calmed me down. He even said I could go to the office tomorrow morning if I was still concerned. To a person who has anxiety this really helped & i appreciate him answering my 10 pm panic call. My fitbit said my oxygen levels were normal so that was another relief and something I kept checking. Since I didn't really like the way hydrocodone made me feel I think I might go down to a half or just Tylenol depending on my pain level in the morning. Of course since I'm on the meds right now my pain level is really low to nonexistent. I just feel the tightness and Soreness mostly when I get out of bed to standing. I did eat a piece of toast and a few goldfish cracked at midnight after my nausea passed. I also started peeing a ton around midnight-maybe peeing out the IV? Not sure i also drank a ton of water which is normal for me but I'm not use to peeing all night. Other than this all is well Updated on 13 Feb 2021: I'm trying to be as detailed as possible because so many of these reviews helped me make my choice so I hope my experience can help others. Morning after surgery I'm feeling good considering everything. Pain is at a 3 only when I'm standing and walking. Just kind of dull pain i can ignore when lying down and chest feels heavy I would rate a 1 not very bad at all when lying down. The doctors office called to check on me so nice considering my freak out last night. I told them I haven't taken the hydrocodone still scared & might just opt for Tylenol. They told me to do Tylenol during the day and try half a hydrocodone at night to help sleep. I slept on and off last night what woke me up was the urge to pee-i guess still peeing out the IV? My throat still hurts a little from the anesthesia but I'm drinking hot tea to help. The muscle spasm medicine really helps bc I do feel those and I feel little air pockets on the sides of my body which they said would happen and go away on its own. Very swollen ill take a pic this afternoon when I shower & still extremely bloated. They did warn I would get extremely bloated even all the way down to my vagina and I sure feel it. Even my fingers look swollen too me. I had no more nausea today and drank a mocha banana smoothie with flax and chia seeds this morning with some pineapple pieces. So far the worst part in my opinion was the nausea from last night. Also I have to recommend a wedge pillow -It been so helpful for this and like I said I only feel pain when getting out of bed. I took a cat nap around noon before lunch and then slept like 5 hours from 1-6 pm. I didn't see any bruises when I showered so not taking arnica. My boobs look huge and swollen and kind of square to me but I know its because they are swollen. I tried to take a pic of my armpit incision but it still has the bandaid on. I did need help showering but hv been able to use the RR on my own just needed assistance walking there the few hrs after surgery. I'm feeling like I can do stuff on my own now with "t-rex" arms and I have plenty of prepared meal replacement shakes and cut up fruit so my friend will be leaving tonight at 9 pm. Updated on 14 Feb 2021: Day 3-I didn't take the half of hydrocodone at night just the Tylenol and I woke up with no pain. The getting out of bed however is so painful and my pain level shoots up to about a 3/4. I moved around a bit and most of the pain went away. Sitting and laying down on my wedge pillow no pain its really just the act of getting up that is super painful. Really have to use your ab and leg muscles a lot to get up since you can't use your arms. My left side under armpit seems to be a bit more swollen than my right so I'm icing it down. The right side under armpit has zero swelling but I can feel stinging on the incision every so often . All I'm really feeling is tightness and swollen and of course the extreme bloating. I took laxatives last night that say bowel movement within 12 hrs but still nothing so had to get some laxatives chewables that promise a bowel movement within 30 minutes. So far after an hour no bowel movement so I took 1 additional and had apple sauce to see if that would help. I'm also extremely thirsty and have drank about 5 water bottles already. I have no appetite but I did drink a shake this morning-maybe why I haven't had a bowel movement bc I haven't eaten. My sore throat from anesthesia went away. I am able to do more stuff on my own but have trouble opening medication caps so my friend left them all opened before he left last night. I haven't been able to check my armpit incisions the bandaid is still covering them so I hope they are doing ok. I feel tingling every now and then on my sides. I've been sleeping on and off about 2-5 hr increments. By 1 pm my left breast was way more swollen than my right. I called the dr and he said I may have been moving too much and caused the swelling. Both of them are very swollen now but my left is still a bit bigger. I iced it down and stayed in bed the rest of the day. I have to say I have bad anxiety so every little thing causes me to panic but I am thankful Dr. Young answers the after hour phone. I did take half hydrocodone at night because they were getting too painful for Tylenol to handle. Updated on 17 Feb 2021: Days 4-6 have been pretty much the same routine. TMI but none of the laxatives worked so had to get magnesium citrate and that finally worked 2 hrs later on day 4. Same routine of swelling then icing then swelling. Left is still more swollen than the right. I had to change out of the surgical bra it was rubbing my skin raw so I'm in a fruit of the looms cotton front close bra that I got off poshmark. Much more comfortable! This is all during a huge snow and power outages in Texas so I have been able to take it easy and not work due to the outages. I also haven't eaten much except ready made shakes also due to the outages so bloating has gone down. Tomorrow if we aren't complement snowed in is my 1 week appointment where they show me how to massage! Updated on 20 Feb 2021: So they called me on day 6 to check up on me and to let me know my 1 week apt on day 7 would be cancelled. No surprise because most of the city didnt have power, water, and highways were closed. A nurse did call me back because I asked about the uneven swelling and she said it was completely normal. They rescheduled me 1 day later to go in the temp was good that day and power would be restored. I was able to drive on my own. I finally got my bandaids removed under my arms and they checked the incisions and they were healed perfectly. I can now wash my under arms and wear deodorant. I attached a pic because I couldn't find a lot on how the underarm incision would look. Hoping scar gel will lighten it but you also can't really tell it's a scar looks like where your skin naturally folds. I learned how to massage to help them drop. As of right now they are still pretty darn huge so hoping they go a little more down in size. I am now only taking 1/2 hydro if I feel pain at night. Not taking anything else. Pretty much still have a full bottle bc I was only doing halves. Updated on 17 Mar 2021: Week 2 of healing went smoothly. I did have to go to work twice and yes walking more than usual caused them to swell every day. Left one was still larger than right with swelling. Week 3 things got a lot easier still massaging and going to the office more often but not so much swelling! Week 4 for the most part I forgot i even had the surgery done. They don't get swollen anymore but now the left one is completely normal looking and dropped beautifully and right is still high and hasn't dropped.. go figure the one that had the most issues is now perfect & the one with no issues has an issue now! Will keep massaging it until it falls into place. By this week my body is also tired of sleeping upright on my wedge pillow and I really just want to sleep on my sides. Only thing I notice now is if I stretch my arm outwards I sometimes feel the tendon or muscle tight. I've been around all my family and friends at this point in sweaters or shirts up to my neck so far no one can tell which is exactly what I wanted. When I wear a swim suit however they are full on display and we shall see if I can get away with no one asking. I haven't measured myself yet so not sure the size I ended up at. They are still pretty hard so hoping the massages soften them up more. Just did my 1 month check up yesterday and will post about that later with the pics. Overall love them! Can't wait to see them in a bra and swim suit! Updated on 21 Mar 2021: Here are my 1 month photos in the bra I had on in my before photo. As I mentioned right one still sitting high but working on it with massages. Just got scar gel to lighten up my underarm scars. Also working on stretching my arms a lot. My right arm still feels extremely tight and I can't stretch it straight upwards. I guess tendon or muscle is still very tight. Also get shooting pains in this arm more than the other one but working on yoga poses and stretching daily. Will post back after my check up in 2 months.
Excellent doctor and staff!! After my procedure they called to checkup on me..answering all the questions 2 day post up,, still Pretty swollen. I will keep updating after swelling goes down. I will most definitely be back for other services
My experience with Dr Young was great from start to finish, everyone was so welcoming, nice and sweet. They took care of me from the get go. I went from 32A and had high profile silicone breast implants right side 560cc left side 525cc. Overall he was a great Dr and the whole staff was amazing! Updated on 13 May 2020: So it 1 week post and I have very little soreness my breast look great! I had my follow up to do and will start massaging my breast. It’s taking a little getting use too especially since I was an A cup to now what feels like a large C small D. I’m ready to start wearing normal bras! Updated on 17 May 2020: So this is one week and five days, breast are dropping massaging everyday as told. They feel and look better! I don’t regret them I’m very happy and pleased with them! Kinda wishing I went bigger but overall love them. A little tight still but massaging helps.
My bbl is today. I’m very nervous because my mom keeps reminding me how dangerous it is. I trust my doctor though and the nurses are very helpful. I have bought several things for my recovery including body wipes for when i can’t shower. My butt has been a lifelong insecurity of mine and it feels good being able to get control of even this. I can’t wait till it’s all over with!!! These are my before pictures Updated on 6 Mar 2020: Holy molly guys i’ve never been so sedated i my entire life. I think that was the hardest part of yesterday. It’s hard to lay on my stomach because it’s severely bruised but i have no other choice lol. These are pictures of me today. Updated on 7 Mar 2020: I tried to shower today (per my discharge instructions) but it was horrible. I didn’t even use soap I just wanted to get out as soon as possible so I could put my faja back on. It made be more nauseous than anything because my skin looks so weird and I can’t feel my stomach when I touch it. I’ll try again tomorrow to shower. Updated on 8 Mar 2020: I know i shouldn’t judge my results right now because they will change but I hope the end result is rounder. I can’t really tell a difference between my shape now and my shape before. I’m sure (and i’m hoping) it will change and I will get the more round booty look that I wanted. I showered today successfully. I knew I would have waited till day three based on everyone else’s experience but my doctor said to do it on day two, which was too early for me. My stomach still doesn’t feel like my stomach, meaning I can’t feel when I touch it which made showering hard. I haven’t had a BM since i got my BBL which is concerning. I’ve had a couple of little ones because I took an enema (omg it was so weird) but other than that I’ve got nothing. I stopped taking my pain medication because it made me too sleepy to even walk around. Updated on 2 Apr 2020: Honestly, the worst part about a BBL is not being able to sit or lay on your back. GET A BBL PILLOW!!! Most i’ve seen are around $80 but if you need one I can send you a link to the one I bought off amazon for $25. It’s the same quality and just as sturdy. I can’t wait till i can go swimming and sit down on my butt and wear shorts and leggings now. I finally have a shape and I couldn’t be more happy. Here are side by side comparisons of before and 1 month after using the same pants. Updated on 6 Apr 2020: hey y'all this is a better picture and video of my results. i loveeeee how my shape is turning out. also if anyone is curious the faja is from pretty girl curves in a size small. i wasn't able to wear it until about 3 weeks in when the swelling went down. the only thing is though is that the straps are wayyyy too short and cut into my shoulder, but i like the way it molds my figure so i continue to wear it Updated on 11 Apr 2020: these are some before and after pictures. made me feel a little better about my figure
Amazing! Carly and Holly were so inspiring and took every question as if it were their own. On my way to looking even more fantastic! Thank you to the “forever young team” Thank you Carly for such a great bedside manner and Holly for pushing me!!
Hello and thank you for your question. A traditional blepharoplasty of the upper lid would be ideal to correct the excess skin. Make sure you consult with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is skilled in correcting asymmetry. Best of luck to you.
Hello and thank you for your question. Micro-autologous fat transfer has become an alternative treatment for lower eyelid blepharoplasty. The traditional blepharoplasty removes fatty tissue and this sometimes still results in a hollowness between the eyelid and cheek junction. The fat transfer tends to blend the eyelid with the cheek junction making traditional excision unnecessary. This should not disrupt the position of your lower lid. Best of luck to you.
Hello and thank you for your question. It is still early to determine if you would require revisional surgery. It appears you are healing according to plan. This is a highly vascular area which takes time to heal from swelling and bruising. I wish you the best in your recovery you are on your way to a terrific result..
Thank you for your question. At this point I feel it is too early to proceed with corrective surgery. I would wait for the scar to soften which may release the webbing with time. In the meantime you could massage the scar to soften it. If the webbing is persistent over a 6-12 month period than you could perform a small procedure called a Z-plasty to correct the webbing. Best of luck to you.
Hello and thank you for your question. In any type of surgery when you have asymmetrical results it is best to go to your surgeon and see what he is or is not able to accomplish. It you are still dissatisfied with the response you may very well get a second opinion. It appears that your left upper eyelid remains ptotic and you would need a levator advancement (the muscle that opens and closes your eyelid) which would elevate your eyelid and improve the fold position. Best of luck to you.
