40 yrs old - I want a BBL. Will I get good results?

Question

I had a TT in 2008. I want lipo with BBL and lipo to the pubic area from swelling from my previous TT. Can I benefit from having the procedures?

Hello! Thank you for your question. Since you have already had a Tummy tuck with Liposuction it may be difficult to achieve the results you want for a Brazilian Butt Lift. You may not have good quality fat to transfer. It is impossible to say without an in person consultation to assess you. I highly recommend seeing an experienced board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and goals of surgery. Based on these photos, you are a great candidate for VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 degrees (abdomen, pubic area, whole back, lower back fat pad, waist, hips and anterior and lateral rib cage) with fat transfer to the buttocks for shaping and enhancement. It seems you had a "standard" tummy tuck with poorly placed scar which is too high. This could be lowered down to below the pubic hairline level at a later date. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour.
Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Your photo indicates that you can benefit from a BBL; fat can be taken from many different areas (abdomen, sides, back, bra rolls, thighs, arms, etc) depending upon the areas of excess and what your goals may be. Most patients get an immense benefit with maximal liposuction of the abdomen, sides, and back to obtain the smallest waist possible and then maximal fat transfer to the buttocks and hips. The goal is to transfer fat from areas where you find it displeasing to areas in which you would like more volume.

Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). From your photos, I believe you would be a very good candidate for a 360 liposuction and fat transfer to the buttock and pelvic frame (BBL).  the procedure takes approximately 2 to 3 hour to perform and can be done on an outpatient basis.  Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive BBL experience.   Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
