Hello doctors! I'm thinking of doing fat transfer for breast (with lift) and BBL. I'm not sure if I have enough fats to do that. I don't want to get too big just want to add one or two more cups. For BBL I'm still undecided because I've heard and read some things about it and that's why I'm hesitant. Also I have keloids. I know the importance of in-person consultation but with what's happening now, I'd have to do that sometime. Virtual consultation is still different than having it in person.
Answer: BBL candidate Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: Do I have enough fat for a BBL and do I need to consider keloids when making my decision? Thank you for your pictures and questions. I am going to disagree with some others and say that I think there is no way you are going to be a candidate for a fat transfer to the breast and buttocks if you want to have reasonable results. Adding 1-2 cup sizes would be a retained fat volume of 200-300 cc per side and if we assume a fat transfer loss of 25% (best case scenario), then you would need a transfer of 300-400 per breast, or 600-800 total. If you are processing and purifying the fat for transfer, I think you are going to have a hard time just getting that amount, let alone even starting to consider the BBL. I would think seriously about what your priorities are and have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. You may want to consider a breast lift (mastopexy) rather than fat transfer or even a lift combined with an implant for additional volume. Hope this helps!Dallas R. Answer: Good BBL candidate Based on these photos you seem to be a good BBL candidate. Only on the basis of in person consultation and discussion about your goals and options one could give you more meaningful answer. Good luck.

Answer: Do I have enough fat for a BBL and do I need to consider keloids when making my decision? (Photos) Breast fat transfer is a great tool to balance breasts, improve symmetry, and gain up to one cup size in volume. In general, 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons. It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. Multiple transfers would be required for additional cc's. In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred donor sites but fat from other areas can be used. I place one incision under each breast and the fat can be injected to the locations specified by the patient. The BBL scars are small, but some surgeons will make many more incisions and in less discrete locations.

Answer: BBL candidate Dear Cari9228, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
