Hi, thank you for sharing your question. The ideal way to get the best advice would be after an in person evaluation, however based on your photos, it seems that you may be a candidate for tummy tuck. Given the amount of loose skin, a full tummy tuck should be able to address the laxity above and below the belly button. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to review all your options. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
Your issues are quite reasonable and there are great abdominoplasty techniques to provide good tightness to the tissues in your photo. A proper high lateral tension procedure works well.I hope this helps. I am available virtually if you have other questions.Leland Deane MD FACS2020 Castle Connolly Best Doctor
Everyone’s skin is usually looser when sitting, otherwise it would be difficult to flex at waist. On standing view, you do not appear to have lax skin either above or below the belly button to warrant tummy tuck. This would have to be evaluated in person after reviewing history, exam, etc with a plastic surgeon for other options and best recommendations.
The answer is yes you can. In fact, this is exactly what the tummy tuck operation was designed for. The skin is tucked throughout your abdominal wall. Also, the muscles are tucked and some liposuction is typically performed during a tummy tuck. From your photos it looks like you are a good candidate for this procedure. Virtual consultations are available during which many options that are available to you can be discussed.
Hello, in situations where there’s more loose skin in the upper part of the abdomen, one can perform either a mini tummy tuck or even a reverse tummy tuck. I recommend a virtual consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon near you. Thank you.Mark G. Albert, M. D.New York, NY
Dear Twoboystwogirls, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately with the limited views it is difficult to see what treatment would work best but it appears that you have skin laxity present below and above the belly button which would require a tummy tuck to address. Hope this helps.
I appreciate your concerns however your case is difficult to evaluate from the photos provided because of the angles. An in person consultation is needed to evaluate skin quality and laxity. While there appears to be a fair amount of redundant skin while you are flexed, your upright photo demonstrates little skin redundancy. Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in our area for a full evaluation to explore the best options for you. Good luck.
Hello! Thank you for your question. It appears as though you have had something done to your abdomen area such as liposuction? It is difficult to give you an opinion without more information. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck.
My sense is that you have laxity both above and below the umbilicus and would, therefore, be an excellent candidate for abdominoplasty. In this situation, trying to do half the operation would not produce an aesthetically acceptable result. Best wishes.
Dear Exquisite200217 Thanks for your question and sharing your photographs. Looking at your photos and considering your history of weight loss and childbirth, I believe you are a great candidate for a Fleur-de-Lys abdominoplasty. The reason for that is you seem to have excess skin both in...
BodyTite is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically. BodyTite rids the body of some fat cells and is less traumatic than traditional liposuction. However, BodyTite only works well for people who are near...
More information is needed to determine if you are a good candidate for a tummy tuck. It is best for patients to have a BMI of 30 or under when considering elective plastic surgery. This is to keep risk of complications low. A chart to help you determine BMI can be found on the internet. ...
