Over a month ago I had 1 unit of Juvederm Ultra XC placed superficially in my temples, and 1 unit placed in corner of jaw, masseter area and buccal area. The temples have a visible indentation on both sides of the placed filler, towards the orbital rim and hairline. The filler protrudes more when I smile. Also, I can see in certain lighting both a bolus of filler in my masseter and buccal area. Is it due to superficial placement? Would more filler blend them in? Or should I remove it?
I have had several rounds of juvederm fillers, In which all has gone great minimal bruising and swelling, no lumps. But I have one spot on my upper lip that looks like bruising, I would think that it may be the Tyndall effect but it also indents at the same spot where the bruising looking area is. Could this be Tyndall effect? I will also add I use to get pretty bad fever blisters, in which the doctor said it may be a scar but it was never discolored like this till after one of my filler session
When I smile you can really see the missing fullness and as a chunk missing in top lip in multiple places. Its been 2 weeks since an Initial appointment and a week since trying to fix it with the same physician. Whats should I do?
I did microneedling Rf over 2 months ago and my face got burned. I had smooth skin before, but now Im left with these indentations in my face which look like atrophic scars. The photos show my progress in the past month. Is there hope for a full recovery and how much longer will it take? Approximately how long should I wait to do regular microneedling with prp to help me heal? Whats the fastest way to get my skin back (and honestly my life) Your help is greatly appreciated. Do burns of these kind microneedling Rf cause permanent scars? If not, approximately when will they heal? I was wondering if you put a filler like Juvederm, to fill the acne scars, will the microneedling Rf be less effective in helping build collagen? Should the microneedling Rf be done before of after filler?
so today is the second day after receiving 1ml of Juvederm ultra. Ive noticed a dent in my lip that shows up especially when I smile and when I press my lips. This is my second treatment in the last 5 months. Should I contact my injector?
I had under eye filler done recently- with horrible result- I'm 34- bags under eyes with bizarre ridges/indents mid cheek now. The injector used Versa- new HA It has been a week, I'm so sad & embarrassed. Can I safely have the filler dissolved and move on with my life- we are planning on getting pregnant within next two months and I don't want to possibly harm baby- I read that antibodies can form bc the hyalonidase is from sheep/cattle testes- Would asking for Hylenx be better?? Please help!!
Hi,I had juvederm in smile lines+upper lip 2wks ago. I have upper lip hair that I tweeze daily. My surgeon said tweezing ok befor+48 hrs after, but caused indentations and after 2wks swells & red after. Returned in 3 days upset - one side is horrible, he suggested I wait 2 extra weeks.. but no answers. Tried shaving, don't like so back to tweezing today. Next apt Dec1, scared he won't fix it. Questions 1) can tweezing daily cause dents/atrophy where juviderm was injected? 2) Is shaving better.
I noticed today my lips hurting a little bit. I checked& I noticed these indentions on the sides of my bottom lips. It looks like my teeth are pushing forward and pressing against them or maybe I'm quenching/grinding my teeth unconsciously. If you look when I smile there's waves in the bottom lip. I haven't had Juvederm injected since March/Aprilish & I'm concerned. Do I need more Juvederm? Or my teeth need to be realigned? I'm very self conscious now. I'm concerned please help :(
Hi, I have an indented scar in my right alar which made the skin on my nostril soft. To correct I had Juvederm ultra 3-o.3 ml injected in the right alar 5 months ago, which was injected poorly. I can feel a small lump INSIDE my nose for where the juvederm was injected. I know it'S normal for lumps to occur but the fact it is inside my nose where the right alar is what I am not too sure about. Will this disappear over time as the filler dissolves or is my cartilage damaged from the injection?
I had .5 cc of juvederm injected into my upper lip only. 3 days later there is an indent on the side of my lip. There has always been a small crease here but now its much deeper and very visible. I think it looks very odd. my smile lines seem to have gotten alot worse. Is this because the lips are larger and are now pushing the skin (around my mouth) outward?is this created by a shadow making the lines appear deeper? how can I fix this? more filler in these lines? filler in cheek? thanks
