When I smile you can really see the missing fullness and as a chunk missing in top lip in multiple places. It’s been 2 weeks since an Initial appointment and a week since trying to fix it with the same physician. What’s should I do?
Answer: Lip Augmentation Candidate -- Injectable Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Fat Grafting to Lips, NovaThreads for Lift Thank you for your question! Technique is the key to a successful lip augmentation with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. At my practice, I recommend using a Lip Injectables Post Care Package that was custom-curated by my team and I, to give you the best results possible. This package, along with a free consultation with one of my Skin Care Specialists, can be found at Emeragecosmetics.com (see link below). An experienced physician will be able to determine which technique will give you the results you're looking for.Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Indent after lip filler Thank you for your question, Giving0808! I would give the filler at least 3-4 weeks to settle as swelling can sometimes create unevenness. If at this time your problem still persists, I would follow up with your injector. You could either dissolve or add a little more filler to the center for an easy fix! Best of luck!

Answer: Results It can take up to two weeks to see your filler results, as it can take swelling that long to resolve. If after two weeks you still have concerns, return to your injector for an examination. A touch up can be done if necessary.

Answer: Go Back to Original Injector Lindsay here, CANS Nurse Injector for Dr. Mark Mason. I would wait 4 weeks, and then go back to your original injector. You have two options: (a) Dissolve the two prominent areas of fullness in the upper lip(b) Add more filler between the two prominent areas of fullness in the upper lipIt will ultimately be between you and your injector, but if you were our patient, I would recommend adding a little bit more in the upper lip between the two areas of fullness. I think you'll get a great outcome! Hang in there!
