Im 4 days out from having my lips done. Ive noticed that I have a rash on the outside of my lips and small, skin colored dots ON my lips. Both of them are very itchy and cause my lips to swell more. Is this an allergic reaction to Juvederm, or possibly the numbing cream that was applied?
I had Juvederm done to even out my top lip (there was a dip) and a little bit in my bottom just for symmetry. Right after I was told theyd be a little smaller than how they are now. I didnt swell much at all but my top lip looks a little bit like a duck and last night my friend told me it looked like I was stung by a bee. Will it get better? Is it worth just waiting out? Can Zyrtec help with the swelling?
I got Juvederm Voluma 4 days ago. I got one sringe and the doctor struggled to get the product in my left cheek. On day 3, I went back to my doctor who assessed my left cheek, she felt it was from deep skin trauma not an infection but she gave me antibiotics. Today is day 4, although my cheeks aren't as red they still feel very hot and I am applying ice to both cheeks where the needle went in. The rest of my face is fine and I am not in pain although my left cheek is still slightly swollen.
I understand bumps and bruises go down after a while however, on the bottom right side of my lip it looks like there's no filler and next to that a large bump of filler. The rest of my mouth looks pretty even but when I purse or talk you can see this bump and where it looks empty next to it. Do you think this will even out or is it likely something that will need to be corrected by dissolving the bump and/or adding filler to that corner? Thanks in advance for your help!
I got lip injections about 4 days ago. Theyre still pretty bruised, lumpy and swollen. Last time I got injections the swelling was gone in basically 2-3 days. Just wondering if this is normal. Not sure if its worth noting that last time I got juvederm ultra and this time I got ultra plus. Thank you in advance, Im so terrified my lips are messed up. It is much more apparent when I smile that they are still bumpy
Im hoping the sides of my bottom lip are just swollen and not overfilled. They are still hard and i know it needs time. But is it possible they will go down more? They look great when i smile but at rest i feel like fish lips.
I received lip injections a few days ago. Im happy with the result in terms of shape and feel, but my bruising scares me because it seems as the swelling has reduced, the bruising has become more pronounced. I am generally pretty bruise-prone, and Ive been applying arnica and icing and avoiding all the bruise-worsening things. The bruising itself doesnt concern me its the fact that it seems to be worsening.
Four days ago, I had Juvederm Voluma injected into the upper cheek area and also along the jawline. I also had regular Juvederm placed in the tear troughs and in the nasolabial folds. I am still noticing some swelling and a lump between the under eye and cheek, and my cheeks feel very firm and hard. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to speed up the healing process, like taking supplements? I feel really self-conscious and want to take care of this right away. Thanks for your help!
