My lips are shaking after Juvederm —is this a concern?

In some cases after injections, there can be either nerve irritation or fibrillations of the lip muscles for a bit of time. I suggest you get in touch with your injector and ask if massaging might help.

Although I've never seen this myself I can't imagine that this nerve irritability will persist. As an injector I would want to know if my patient was concerned so call your injector to see what his/her recommendations are. Best wishes!  Harry V. Wright MD, Sarasota, Florida

I'm sorry to hear about your problem. It sounds like you may have some nerve irritation in the area of treatment. I would apply some moist, warm compresses to help this resolved and I'm sure it will go away in a very short period of time as in one or two days. Good luck from New York City
