I got lip injections about 4 days ago. They’re still pretty bruised, lumpy and swollen. Last time I got injections the swelling was gone in basically 2-3 days. Just wondering if this is normal. Not sure if it’s worth noting that last time I got juvederm ultra and this time I got ultra plus. Thank you in advance, I’m so terrified my lips are messed up. It is much more apparent when I smile that they are still bumpy
Answer: You still have some healing time left. You still have some healing time left. You can help your lips by finger roll massaging them three to four times daily for the next week or so. If you don't see provement by then, speak to your treating physician.

Answer: Swelling After Lip Fillers Thank you for your question. All of the symptoms you are experiencing are normal and very common with lip fillers. You should wait a full two weeks before assessing whether you are satisfied with the final result. You can use ice packs to help the swelling subside. Be sure to contact your provider and he/she may suggest that you massage the lips to alleviate the bumpy areas. If you are still unhappy after the two weeks, make an appointment to see your provider and they can discuss potential solutions, which may including using hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler. Best of luck to you!
