My new breast are awesome, I love them and the healing time was to a minimum. She was very honest with me about my treatment and what will be expected. I do love her as a person and my surgeon. When I was discharged from the hospital, her office staff called and checked on me. She even called me over the weekend to make sure i was ok. Great experience.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Dr. Meade by my breast surgeon for the reconstruction part after bilateral mastectomy. I chose to have tissue expanders put in place immediately after my mastectomy surgery and will have them changed out for implants in a few months. This will be followed by nipple reconstruction.
Losing a breast is traumatic. You need a doctor that doesn't just do a great job, you need one who cares and is there for you. I would not have survived emotionally without Dr Teotia and her staff. I mean it. And you cannot tell which breast is reconstructed and which is real. She is that amazing.
