I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Dr. Meade by my breast surgeon for the reconstruction part after bilateral mastectomy. I chose to have tissue expanders put in place immediately after my mastectomy surgery and will have them changed out for implants in a few months. This will be followed by nipple reconstruction.

Sounds like an excellent choice and I wish you all the best on your journey. I had breast cancer in one breast so did the mastectomy, expander, implant, nipple reconstruction , and areola tattoo and did a slight breast augmentation for the other breast. I love my new look and hope you will love yours as well. Post any questions you have and I'm sure someone will have a helpful suggestion.
